Truth is quite the worthy opponent of lost religions.

To be in tune with others, nature, the cosmos and once's true self is imoortant too as long as it is all done with the perfect energy which is Love.
The dynamic power which is Love creates harmony.
Harmony unties everything and thus evil the necessary other side of the oin si fused into something new.
Light shines in darkness but you need both to find truth within and without.
For here is a learning ground for souls. Hence it takes a lot of discernment and tolerance as each learns at his own rate, his own lesson, his own way on his own path.

The biggest problem of organized religions is for sure the abuse of their practices.
Certainly someone can get a soothing affect from the act of confessional.
But when organized astrocities are found out.Like child molestations allowed and assisted by their church.One must wonder if those who are supposed to keep something sacred has but made a mockery of it.
Can you not picture all the child molesting church leaders forgiving one another for their crimes on those poor children?And then starting all over again.

Thanks. Isn't it strange that the most meaningful texts are the ones that were "forbidden" and thrown out of the Bible?

This is a wonderful quote from a book by Elaine Pagels called "The Gnostic Gospels":
