I'm not new here, but this is my first post as I've only just realised free subscribers could post in the forum I was in Matalan the other week, and was horified to see this in the children's section (didn't notice anything similar in the adult section) How much symbolism do they wanna cram onto one little t-shirt?! I cringe at the thought of oblivious parents buying this crap for their kids. And this is just one item, I didn't stick around for long after seeing this but I bet there's tons more.. Check it out:

No way! That's horrible. I would like to see what the letter/writing in the background is though.

Yeah me too, I did try to read some of it but couldn't make out anything significant, the only words that were clear enough to read were ones like 'but' and 'the'..
except one, the word fear is at the very top, strangely isolated from the rest of the gibberish

Over the past year or so I have noticed the massive influx of butterfly designs, skulls and pyramids on t shirts. I noticed All Saints is based on skulls and mason symbolism. You can buy little baby clothes with lizards and butterfly's on from mother care !! Mental

I find it interesting how these things are coming more and more out into the open. It's a good thing. Hopefully it'll lead to an increase in knowledge.

None of those symbols are "Satanic", by the way.

Maybe not 'satanic' so to speak, but occult/illuminati symbols for sure. The fact that this stag is coloured in red, with sun symbol behind, is very suggestive and reminiscent of satan/baphomet. Symbolic suggestions like this are just as powerful as the more blatant examples IMO, affecting the viewer on a more subliminal level. |

It seems like they're really reaching with those interpretations.

What I am getting at, is that the image as a whole - red, horned beast gives a suggestion of the devil. I didn't mean to imply that baphomet or satan are actually red, neither is a stag! I'm no expert on the matter but the image gave me that impression at a glance. I've asked other people - family, friends, and they all said the image looked like the devil. Ask the average person what they think the devil looks like, and I guarantee they would give you that vague description (big, ugly, red, with horns) It's the mainstream portrayal. Do you see where I'm coming from?

I've seen this symbol countless times in what we would call occult art. Therefore overall, I would say that it's very likely that the designer intended to give this impression. It may not be as obvious as some of the stuff I've seen, but if you know your symbolism, it's fairly easy to see. Bearing in mind that the design is on a snowboard, aimed at the younger generation, most of whom will have no idea what the design is suggesting. It doesn't have to be accurate - the subliminal suggestion is enough. Sun symbolism ![]() ![]() ![]()
