Apocalypse 2012 Back On? Second Mayan Inscription Uncovered

Mexico’s National Institute of Anthropology and History now says Mayan ruins show a second reference to the apocalypse occurring in 2012 but said that rumors of the world ending late next year were a Western misinterpretation.

On Thursday, the institute released a statement saying that the date of the apocalypse had been found on the carved or molded face of a brick at the Comalcalco ruin in the southern part of the country.

Most experts had previously said there was only one reference in Mayan glyphs, a stone tablet from the Tortuguero site in the Gulf coast state of Tabasco.

Arturo Mendez, an institute spokesman, said the fragment known as the Comalcalco Brick had been found years ago and studied thoroughly. It is not on display and is kept in storage.

Leonard Nimoy adopted the iconic Vulcan symbol himself, using a hand sign the rabbis used in his synagogue as a child. They weren't supposed to watch the raabi do the sign, but boys will be boys.

Interesting that probably the most famous science fiction mythology of all time was flashing a Hebrew sign to us all for decades, without the vast majority knowing it.

Star Trek also featured many things which are now either reality or close to it, such as mobile phones, no governments, universal one currency, and no religion, with mankind ruled by reason and science.

Of course that all may have been glossing over where we are really headed.

As for the Apocalypse next year or 2016 or whenever else they've flagged up, is there a smiley for YAWN.

Some random Aztec guy from thousands or what ever years ago writes on a stone tablet a date ( 21/12/2012) end of the world or consious change, or what ever, so this guy knew how to qrite a date and fully understood the years 2012 and the months december and the days as well, he knew all about out future, and this waas thousands years ago like we dont know shite in the year we are living in now, never mind half our popu.lation are illitrate and thick, so anyway this fella writes on a Aztec wall "KIllroy Was Here" and the whole world beleives this is an apocylypse or what ever, i might as well put my faith in micky fookin mouse then or donald the duck and stray from my deep beleives and values and buy into this scenario aztec date.

I am going to draw on a motorway signpost a date and picture of Simon Cowell stating the end of the world.
