Jimmy Saville famously only owned one pair of underpants at a time and washed them in the bath every night..Why would he be doing that? The guy always gave me the creeps when i was younger. I wonder if the truth will out?

my mum is really upset that he is dead

back in the 60's she met him along with her friends said he was nothing but a gentleman when they saw him in his dressing room on top of the pops

mind you she also says it was all her female friends her male friends went into another room to meet him at a different time

make of that what you will

weird man.

I'm sorry he is dead, but he was no saint, and it looks like he had a really murky life and past.

Perhaps he was a nice guy and I'm reading him wrong but I wouldn't have let him babysit for any of my children nieces or newphews (or dead parents)

Don't know anything about the man other than the image he portrayed via the media but If he was visiting murderers like Peter Sutcliffe and being all chummy with him then he was a sick puppy really.

compassion is a noble quality but only when used with good judgement.

So what was all that about then? Putting a little kiddy on his lap and going "oooeeooo" while wobbling that big cigar with the soggy wet end about? wasnt he a friend of Jonathan King the now imprisoned and self righteous child abuser?

Jimmy Savile appears to be another operative of the global aristocracy.

Not only was he a BBC personality and a wealthy philanthropist, but he was part of:
-The Knights of the British Empire
-The Knights of Malta
-The Order of St. Gregory the Great

In addition to being a member of two of the Vatican's most powerful fraternities and a knighted operative of the Queen, he maintains very close ties to the State of Israel.

He was certainly a subject of the Illuminati.

He is very agressively defensive in the theroux vid. Makes veiled threats "send my sicilian guys round" "just to talk to you" when confronted about therouxs address being on a paper.

"Im not a grass" "i can get anything...anything" "omerta"...

Seemed para that theroux would spill some beans on what insider media info on jim thus the defensive threats and need to steer and dominate and also eager that the big boys should know he is solid and wont grass. What favours "i can get anything" has Jim really fixed?

Always thought he was weird. I'd love to see that picture of him at the care home, since the link to flickr says the picture doesn't exist.

When I watched this at the time, I wondered why JS agreed to appear in the program as, like you say, he was "very aggressively defensive" and...quite obnoxious. I very much got the feeling that he had things to hide.

I assuming it was related to green pieces of paper, because he didn't exactly come out of it smelling of roses.

He denied having been somewhere he clearly had been. Kind of odd...

If you're old enough to have observed him long enough, you don't need Theroux to reveal him. A false, at all times "in Character" person with a very dark, admittedly rumoured, background. A fake supposedly sexless entity pretty similar to Sir Cliff
Very fruity pedophiles the both, I'd imagine

I'm sure you're right.

I never liked watching him... the program just revealed him to be a nasty little shit.
