A year later, he announced the reorganization of the ASU to include popular congresses, topped by the GPC. In March 1977, the GPC became, at least formally, the primary instrument of government in Libya. The reorganization of the ASU and the elevation of the GPC were carried out in conjunction with Qadhafi's political theories found in his work, The Green Book, Part I: The Solution of the Problem of Democracy.

If people would get their information from official government sources as opposed to the mass media, we'd be well on our way. Governments and foundations publish everything we need to know but they Know that most people cannot handle information when it is not presented as "edutainment".

Of the previous régime of the British puppet King Idris (who provided boys for the visiting Western élite):

On the eve of the 1969 revolution, the royal family and its most eminent supporters and officeholders, drawn from a restricted circle of wealthy and influential families, dominated Libyan society.
Remember folks: WAR IS PEACE; OLIGARCHY IS DEMOCRACY; PROGRESS IS POLYGAMY!

If you truly have you are the first I have communicated with that does.

I am sure every one has a different point of view..Like some one caught with drugs in libya would agree hes a tyrant.
Which is the biggest contradiction to his philosophy i have come across.

The facts like did he house the people and give free services is surley provable though..check out some statistic's.

Anyone but the corporate media is a good start.

By meeting people who wanted Gaddafi dead, all you've learned is that he had enemies. We know this.

Was Lockerbie suspect working for US?

Published on Sunday 26 October 2008 14:48

CAMPAIGNERS yesterday renewed calls for the United States to answer fresh questions over a Lockerbie bombing suspect.

Former Labour MP Tam Dalyell and Edinburgh law professor Robert Black urged the Scottish and UK governments to answer reports there is evidence Abu Nidal was a US agent.

They have long believed Abu Nidal, who died in Iraq in 2002, and his Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine General Command were responsible for co-ordinating the bomb that blew up Pan Am flight 103 over Lockerbie on 21 December, 1988 with the loss of 270 lives.
