I don't believe Bono is an illuminati, you know a lot of people don't know what those signs mean, not every artist who does them, means he knows what they mean.

There are millions out there who use those symbols to show they're cool, they are with it.

Bono if you listen to his songs you'd know that he is not.
He is constantly criticising the establishment, but sometimes you need to shake the hand of the devil to get what you want, in his case it was a big charity that meant life for so many people in Africa, he hates George Bush, and Tony Blair.

I promise you he is not an illuminati supporter.
I knew U2 more than 20 years ago, when you talk to the guy he is not an illuminati, having said that I never liked their music and songs, maybe the lyrics are excellent but as far as music is concerned, it is not at all my cup of tea.

Listen if you look on Sting's videos he uses Freemason symbols, one eyed symbols, but believe me he doesn't know what it means, especially with the song "Every breath you take" watch the video but it's not him who makes the videos, these guys are very persuasive and they can tell anything to make you accept their idea, unless you are really aware of what it all mean.

He did it to help starving people, to get schools built, We can't just judge someone's intention from pictures.
