NGOs and the War on Libya - November 28, 2011 - tv.globalresearch.ca

.

Join us for this week's GRTV Feature Interview with documentary filmmaker Julien Teil as we discuss the lead-up to the war on Libya, and whether it can happen again in Syria.

"The Humanitarian War" is a film about the demonization of Gaddafi in the run-up to the war in Libya.

In this carefully researched documentary, Julien Teil examines the documents and interrogates the NGOs behind the campaign to oust Gaddafi, and shows the lack of evidence for the alleged war crimes that supposedly justified UN intervention.

Libyas New Rulers Offer Weapons to Syrian Rebels - telegraph.co.uk

Syrian rebels held secret talks with Libya's new authorities on Friday, aiming to secure weapons and money for their insurgency against President Bashar al-Assad's regime, The Daily Telegraph has learned.

.

At the meeting, which was held in Istanbul and included Turkish officials, the Syrians requested "assistance" from the Libyan representatives and were offered arms, and potentially volunteers.

"There is something being planned to send weapons and even Libyan fighters to Syria," said a Libyan source, speaking on condition of anonymity. "There is a military intervention on the way. Within a few weeks you will see."

The Telegraph has also learned that preliminary discussions about arms supplies took place when members of the Syrian National Council [SNC] the country's main opposition movement visited Libya earlier this month.

"The Libyans are offering money, training and weapons to the Syrian National Council," added Wisam Taris, a human rights campaigner with links to the SNC.

The disclosure came as rebels raided an air force base outside the city of Homs and killed six pilots, [] according to a statement by the country's military.

Rebel attacks have become daily occurrences since the onset of the insurrection [...]

Last month, Libya's interim government became the first in the world to recognise Syria's opposition movement as the country's "legitimate authority" [ II] - [...]

Sources in the Libyan town of Misurata suggested that some weapons may already have been sent. Some smugglers were caught selling small arms to Syrian buyers in Misurata, said a man who trafficked guns to Libya's rebels during the country's civil war. [...]

David Cameron, the Prime Minister, and his Qatari counterpart, Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem al-Thani, on Friday pledged to keep up talks with Syrian opposition groups in an attempt to support a transition to a stable democracy [...]

Breaking News - Brother of Abdel Hakim Belhadj Killed in Bani Walid

Quote:
As the world media finally decides to report in the fighting, now it has been discovered that one of the NATO Mercenaries killed in Bani Walid last week was Abdul Hakim Belhaj's brother. Younis Belhaj was killed alongside 20 NATO Mercenaries under his command.

Reports indicate that Younis Belhaj was planning to assassinate three Jamahariya supporters when they were ambushed. Apparently the protests which took place in Tripoli airport was due to the ongoing fighting in Bani Walid and Tripoli. Tunisair soon after ended all flights to Tripoli.

Default New Libya Government Is Run By CIA

http://counterpsyops.com/2011/11/29/...is-run-by-cia/

Ali Tarhouni has been both the oil minister, and the acting prime-minister, in the new Libya.

He has now quit.

He says that the new government of Libya represents less than 10% of the Libyan population.

He says the new government is being propped up by foreign money, arms and PR.

Tarhouni lashes Libyan leaders

The new government of Libya is run by the CIA.

It is unpopular.

It contains no representatives of the Berbers (Amazigh), Touareg, Tebou or any black or non-Arab Libyans.

In other words, it only has representatives from one third of the population.

(Source: http://libyasos.blogspot.com/2011/11...overnment.html)

Libyas Berbers have warned of a campaign against the Libyan government

Some of the new government have arrived from abroad; some hold foreign passports.

Libya is now a dictatorship which has at various points been run by:

1. Mahmoud Jibril, who is linked to the CIA.

At his university in the USA, Jibril was looked after by a CIA officer, who had been involved in the 1953 CIA coup in Iran.

2. Belhadj, who worked for the CIA in Aghanistan and Iraq.

He is al Qaeda.

3. Abdurrahim El-Keib, who is an American.

He is now Prime Minister

4. Ali Tarhouni from the University of Washington.

Libyas new CIA government is now sending weapons to Syrias rebels, in the hope that Assad can be replaced by CIA assets. (Libya Sending Arms to Syrian Rebels, Arab League Imposes Sanctions)

Thanks for posting the updates everybody. I've not really been following what's going on inside libya for the last week. I've read bits and pieces though, and it seems there's lots of conflicting reports... hard to say what's really going on at the momment. I don't want to keep posting information that most of us already know either.

I have heard from a number of reports though (unconfirmed) that the tribes still loyal to the Jamahiriya want Dr Moussa Ibrahim to become the new leader of the revolution.

I think they are deliberately leaving out whole sections of Libyan society to alienate them and cause a breakup of Libya into warring factions like they did in Iraq. Divide and rule!
