Of course I thought this was a touching silver lining that's resulted from the tragic loss of a young life. One that should have giving some little relief to his family's grief. BUT, then I suddenly snapped out of my television trance and started to see an entirely different perspective to this story. I suddenly realised that this whole story is nothing uncommon, people dying and donating organs happens every single day and I'm sure each and every case is just as tragic and as sad as this one. So, this got me thinking, WHY are they advertising or rather touting for donors now? Without taking anything away from the young lad featured in the news item who died and who donated his organs, it became clear to me that this so called News-Item was designed to encourage people to register as a donor. And indeed this is exactly how the news item ended, encouraging people to donate. This was a prime-time mainstream news slot and after snapping out of my brainwashing TV trance I saw what was really going on. Is it just a coincidence that the day we are planning on attacking yet another country, our mainstream news starts encouraging the public to donate their organs? .
