Most people doing the Facearse bashing here are hypocrites.
I bet they own mobile phones. These are listened-in on and can be used to triangulate exactly where you are.

No not a hypocrite. I have a mobile phone but I am aware that it can be used to monitor people and track them. This Facebook thread has become yet another "battle" between the "them and us". Somehow, we seem to have been led down that road again. Pathetic really.

I am banned from FaceArse because I was being myself.
But it does cause mental illnesses and so on. I know that one lady had over a thousand 'friends' and she wanted to kill herself for some sad reason.
None of those FaceArsers helped her at all, and I am surprised that Icke has a page on that website.

On a 'good' day, it's fair to say that a lot of the posts here are indistinguishable from stuff I see posted on most social networking sites...i.e, there's serious, thought provoking stuff and trite 'talk about the weather' topics.

All a person has to do to be seen as 'awake' here is to frequently mention words like 'Illuminati', 'psy op' and 'shill', be open minded about the existence of aliens and predict the next natural disaster.

"Awake"?!

May be , and it is only an idea

we just dont like face book .

now that that is out the way

accept it
get over it

and we can all move on .

Fair enough. I don't like celery. But I wouldn't go slagging it off on internet forums! LOL!

But it's the 'I'm scared to go on facebook because the "ebil gubbment" will monitor who I poke' mentality of some that I can't understand...

Facebook's neither good or evil,
it's users are the ones who are
in control of whether it's seen as good or evil.
Use common sense, as you do in the rest of your life
and I can't see what the problem is.

As previous people have said, any important
information about you has been/can be gathered
in a myriad other ways.

As to why it's so slated around here...
well, people are paranoid...
Yet don't seem to mind posting their innermost political/ethical/spiritual/
philosphical etc etc opinions on this forum or any other.
I really can't see what the difference is to be honest.

This 'movement'/shift is supposedly about people waking up and claiming our space. If we're always concerned about 'tptb', in many ways this is envisaging a future where there'll always be an elite lording it over us.

It's actually not about Facebook or Myspace etc at all; it's more to do with people's concept of themselves and the future. There's a time to be tact and covert, yes. But when we're running around constantly worried about 'what will the elite do??', the so-called "elite" are winning. THEY have nothing to worry about.

Study history, folks...study the present day situation in certain nations. I think fear of facebook pales in comparison to the real fears people have encountered or are encountering at this very moment.
Interesting points there. I think you've discovered a gem here - WE are the elite. I dont mean that in a superior way, there are angels and enlightened ones above us, but this obsession with some dark power or TPTB is indeed an illusion, like the Wizard of Oz. Let's start thinking of ourselves as the Governers of our own fate, each and every one of us, rather than cowering beneath the shadow of some sinister hidden force. We are in control, and it's up to us what we make of this life, this earth, instead of blaming others. Yeah? Yeah!

Default A gun ananolgy

Some people could become very complacent when handling a gun especially when they have been using one for a while WITHOUT INCIDENT, especially those who are inexperienced, and those who have never witnessed a gun going off "by accident", or those who have never been trained in how to use one....and then one day.....BANG!
Also, if more than one person is holding the gun when the trigger is pulled, the bullet could go ANYWHERE. And watch out for a ricochet, it could come back and hit you where it hurts!
Sometimes you could be holding a gun which has dodgy sights....

Understand the workings of a gun and you will have a better chance. Also, learn about human error, and you should be ok

Just my quick analogy (no insults please).

Guns don't kill people - rappers do. Saw it on a documentary on BBC2

FaceBook is negative for it creates misery, hardship and timewaste.
I feel sick with the skin of FaceBook which reminds me of a disgusting tabloid newspaper.
set it up with fake info. create an email address etc. i like facebook. i use it to keep in contact with my friends.

i'd say TPTB monitor people on this forum much more than sheeple who use facebook.

its just a tool like any other internet site. it has its uses (not least of which it could be used for helping to waken the masses) the more people i can network with the better.

spread the love. if it is an illuminati controlled site use it against them dude

I think this site differs from facebook as like minded people are talking about things they want to, not about last night’s tv or people’s holiday pictures.
People’s egos are flattered when someone presses the like button and then they give more comments and information about themselves out, which is fine, if you want to..
but why do we want to, why do we feel its ok to do that, and no big deal.
Controlling how we behave is up to us, not to follow trends!

All I see is hypocrisy.

Granted facebook is a info gathering site for large corporations. OK WE ALL GET THAT!

I don't like the idea that someone is making money of it but apparently we LIVE IN A CAPITALISTIC SYSTEM! And human beings are social creatures and everything that is social in nature will appeal to us. That is just how things are!

The system we have to infiltrate and destroy from inside just as from outside. So make a fb profile and advocate that change or not. Whatever!

Having a facebook account or not is not he issue its how you behave on there.

You are a real person not a page or a wall on the internet!

That’s what I promote!

Default big picture oriented

Hi Imani,

The higher dimensional forces of the TPTP want a MECHANIZED Mankind. Although the positive aspect from them is Human progress in the World such as intellectual and technological, improvement of the standard of living; stepping outside its bounds. But for technology to take over is in the negative in spiritual sense, because the end goal is still achieved (TRANSHUMANISM, MATERIALISM, MECHANIZED, MATERIALISM, BIOLOGICAL GENETIC DETERMINISM) which leads to cutting us from the source GOD. Looking at the bigger scope of things, yes the Humans of the TPTP (illuminati, zionists, jesuits, black lodges etc) get their end of the deal; wealth, money, status in return for carrying out a agenda for higher dimensional forces. Which I believe is the "The Devil" and his minions to ultimately make the World in their image - negative impulse.
