Default Food/fuel shortage, New Ice Age Dawns

Experts: Food and fuel shortages imminent as new Ice Age dawns

Felix warns: " The next Ice Age could begin any day. Next week, next month, next year...it's not a question of if, only when. One day you'll wake up—or you won't wake up, rather—buried beneath nine stories of snow. It's all part of a dependable, predictable cycle, a natural cycle that returns like clockwork every 11,500 years."

I wonder if the GRITTERS will still come round ?

Reckon the schools will close ?

Well, I cant see there being any riots cause no b. gonna be able to get
out !!

It would be like living in a giant igloo

After reading that, joking is about the only thing left to do.

On a serious note : James Hansen, NASA`s Chief Scientist was forecasting
an iceage. This was during GWB presidency and Hansen said that the Bush administration kept censoring his Reports. Anyone remember that guy ?
For some reason and when AG came onto the scene, the iceage forecast was dropped, and we started hearing about global warming.
Looks now like James Hansen was right.

Not this James Hansen in yesterdays Independent;

Quote:
Tax on carbon: The only way to save our planet?

He first warned about climate change 30 years ago. Now James Hansen wants us to get serious about a tax on carbon. He tells Phil England why it's our last chance

Tuesday, 4 January 2011

Grave warning: Climate scientist Professor James Hansen , who has spent the past 30 years advising US administrations from Jimmy Carter to George W Bush, says action must be taken now

Professor James Hansen's last formal engagement was delivering a keynote paper to the American Geophysical Union Autumn meeting. After that, he spent the holidays not enjoying wintry walks or taking advantage of the sales, but doing something altogether more industrious. "I'm writing a paper to provide the scientific basis for [law] suits against the government – just to make them do their job," he says.

Hansen, director of the Nasa Goddard Institute for Space Studies and one of the world's leading climate scientists, has not always been as politically engaged as he is now. He had hoped that politicians would respond to the scientific community by taking action to minimise the risks from climate change. But over the course of 30 years advising US administrations from Jimmy Carter to George W Bush, he has seen how the influence of the energy companies has corrupted the political process. Now with just a small window of opportunity left in which to stabilise our climate before it slips out of our control, he has been busying himself with writing to key heads of state around the globe, advocating civil resistance against the coal industry and getting himself arrested while campaigning against mountain-top removal coal mining.

After his famous testimony before a Congressional committee in 1988 that human-induced global warming had begun, Hansen spent the next 15 years turning down most requests for talks and interviews, preferring to focus on research. He overcame his reticence in 2004, when he became angered by the Bush administration's political interference in climate science. He was seized by the need to ensure the public had the facts about the risks posed by climate change, but he also became outspoken on policy issues, crossing a line that many scientists steer clear of.

Yes, that`s the one.

It`s irrelevant what they say, if ice ages are cyclic then it will happen no matter what they say or do. Man hasnt got the ability to alter nature - or at least not to any great extent.

Its no point them keep rambling on about GW because there`s been ice ages in the past, and nothing to do with CO2. They are a natural event.
So I just wish they would shut up and go away & stop making themselves look silly anymore than they already have.

We've got Armageddon yet as well as prophecies of 2012 to get through.

Carbon tax and the green economy is evidently the next bubble...

Something is for sure, they sure as hell are raping EVERYONE and EVERYTHING for money and assets without conscience, and whether that's to build underground bases or spaceships to get them the fuck off this rock when it goes tits up, they're not stopping...

What are they spending all this money on? They're gathering the worlds wealth for some reason and it ain't for the good of me or you, that's for sure.

I suggest we stop debating why and each start making a plan.

I`ve not listened to any of them in recent years because I became too disgusted once I realised what they were up to.

However I did use to listen to James Hansen some 7/8 years ago, and
initially I do believe he was genuinely telling the Truth. Simple reason
being he used to say how the GWB govt made life difficult for him.
Dont forget this was BEFORE the U.S. agreed to take part in any climate
treaties - and back then there wasnt as much propoganda about the
climate as what there is now. Whether he`s since been bought out I
wouldnt like to comment because not having listened to him then I cant
make a fair judgement.

Topic: Much to the dismay of the global warming enthusiast, we may be witnessing
the dawning of a new ice age. Piers Corbyn explains

Its a christian radio broadcast - but if you dont want to listen to all
of Rick Wiles` news reports YOU CAN FAST FORWARD & LISTEN TO
THE BROADCAST AT AROUND THE 30 minute mark.
(approx 20 /25 minutes total interview time)

When I read about a coming ice age, then I look at it like this...
LOOK AT THE WEATHER FOR YOURSELF.... we`ve seen the summers growing
increasingly COOLER... and certainly the winters are becoming increasingly
COLDER.

When listening to the above broadcast.... if you listen just a few minutes
earlier than the 30 min mark, then you`ll even hear Rick talk about how much
COOLER it has been in South Florida where he is located.

It would be foolish in the extreme to dismiss the possibility of a coming ice age
because the climate DOES go through these NATURAL changes, and these sort
of events have happened in the past.
