My husband has said that he saw on the yahoo news page that the pair are "considering the economy" when it comes to thier wedding...considering we are in a recession this is pretty rude to even come out with as royal weddings cost BILLIONS of our money (he says watch the taxes go up and all the benefits get cut)

... my own thought ill pin on the end of that is while i was looking her up this morning they have set how many dates already or tried to or considered.. (one exscuse being that he'd used all his vacation days ) ... it isnt just a "normal" relationship, some crazy loved up kids wanting to get get married and settled down - its the future "king" of this country if you want a billion pound wedding then fund it yourself, or wait until the country can afford it.

Was thinking about her name while reading the thread, too. Thought that it could reinforce subliminally that she is 'middle-class' or something.

i brought a paper about an hour ago and in the spread it says that her nickname in school was "princess in waiting" ( yah thats not giving it away folks) ...and that she loves dressing up as a clown...hmmm...wonder if that one will reveal itself??

Also there was a spread of lookalikes proposing, etc but one of the pics is her looking in a mirror in a wedding dress getting fitted.... mirrors are normally linked to mirror magick etc, and statements of symbolism..but it was the pair of white shoes next to the mirror that gave me pause... i think i'm going to google diana and see if i can find a pic of her wearing them..there was something distinctly Beetles about them i havnt been able to shake... it would be very fitting and symbolic to show the shoes she will be filling.... then again it could be nothing.

Can you name some of the "brother sister" marriages of the British Royals for us?
