Default Blatant historical manipulation via Oprah Winfrey

Today I was at Border's Book Store reading one of Icke's books...I got tired and decided to leave...on my way out I happened to see Oprah's biography. Not sure why, but I was tempted to flip through it. I'm a fan of Spielberg and know they worked together on the Color Purple, and I'd heard Oprah tell the story how she got cast in the movie on Larry King. It was actually tied in with promotion of The Secret and Oprah explained how it worked in regards to her landing the part in The Color Purple.

She told King she wanted the part so bad that she was obsessed and did nothing but think about it. She said she was at a fat farm or something and figured she didn't get the part because it had been months since she auditioned. And after she started crying she got the call from Spielberg telling her she had the part.

So I'm flipping to the part about her getting the part in The Color Purple and it's a completely different story! Basically the biography stated she auditioned with the actor that was to play her husband Harpo in the movie and that same day Spielberg told them both they had the part...and that Oprah was jumping up and down on Spielberg's couch like Tom Cruise would jump on her couch years later in the infamous couch jumping incident.

Now here is a blatant example of history being manipulated to suit certain purposes to push the agenda. The biography is not unauthorized, it is labeled at the definitive Oprah bio (link to bio below), so they had her full support, so the information in it has her blessing. But she also related to Larry King and the world a different story altogether about how she got the role in The Color Purple. So she's obviously lying...in the case of the King interview it's probably to push the agenda of The Secret...seems obvious to me.

Now I know the Secret has truth to it, like everything, but there are probably parts that are manipulated to suit the agenda, like the blatant materialism...and happy thoughts...which is not the correct way to do it, as I explained in another thread about enlightenment. Happy thinking has a desire attached, to NOT experience bad thinking, which keeps your in suffering. Desire is suffering...anyway, the manipulation here is blatant with regard to the Color Purple casting.

lolz
Getting tired reading an Icke book, shame on thee!

Oprah was campaigning for Obama, that says it all.
But she has some good bits on her shows from when I used to see it.

She had a 10 week series on Eckhart Tolle does that mean he's controlled opposition?

probably not, because his books contain a massive slice of useful info...and it doesn't matter, because they mix things up...they use both sides in order to continue subterfuge, increase their probability of remaining undiscovered, and debunking conspiracy theorists all at once.
