Fate Worse Than Marriage to Britney? Hubby No. 1 Locked Up in L.A.

Too bad his quickie wedding to Britney Spears didn't last as long as his current stint in the slammer.

Authorities in Los Angeles have locked up Jason Alexander—not the Seinfeld star but the childhood pal who spent all of two days married to Spears back in 2004—for a probation violation stemming from a 2006 DUI bust.

Per Los Angeles Sheriff's Department spokesman Steve Whitmore, the 27-year-old Alexander appeared in court today to explain why he skipped two previous appointments as part of a court-ordered alcohol-education program.

Apparently the judge wasn't swayed by Alexander's excuse, and the former Britney bridegroom was sent to lockup.

"Mr. Alexander will now serve 10 days in the L.A. County jail," Whitmore tells E! News.

In one of her bigger oops moments, Spears swapped vows with Alexander in Vegas Jan. 3, 2004, only to file for annulment 55 hours later on the grounds that she lacked the understanding to know what she was doing

Sigh...
It was mentioned here several times now:

RED NOSE DAY

*shiver* !! How creepy!! Red Nose looks like saying " I SMELL BLOOD!"

I have written about the Red Nose Day and Clowns often since last year. I just wrote an update, for it was Red Nose day today in Germany with german tv chanell Pro7!
Its all about the Harlekin (Hellequin = Halloween), Jester, Fool, Joker. The clown is an ancient symbol for a devil-like creature, a Trickster thats capable of shapeshifting - hence the MASK. It was common in old egypt as well as for native american indians (Hano Clown). Punch, Punchinello is a joker, and some weirdo clowns, rather phantom clwons have stalked kids in the US back in the 90's (see article 'Phantom Clowns Teil 1') They were back a few weeks ago in Chicago, where they tried to allure children into their Van's (see article 'Madrid Flugzeugcrash and 2. update').

In the article 'Madrid Flugzeugcrash' I also wrote in the 1. update about a helicopter crash. A very sick 13 mths yr old Babychild was supposed to be flown to a Chicago hospital (which is three blocks away from the "Oz-Park") on last oct. 15 with an "Air Angels" helicopter, called "Bell 222". Its home airport was the "Clow Airport" in Bolingbrook (Clow = CLown). Clow are also some weird asian Tarot cards. The helicopter crashed into the Chicago suburb "Aurora", Look at its smiling Red Nose:

The clown symbol is used as an emblem for children charity organisations very often and theres definately something wrong with it!
Harry Potter author J.K.Rowling (C'-rowl..ey?) does support the main organiation of Red Nose Day: The british Comic Relief. Daniell Radcliffe (Harry Potter) does support the Demelza children hospice - its emblem is a dancing clown - where children die. Ronald McDonald hangs out in hospital parent houses whose children suffer or die. The Freemasonic Shriners have children hospitals and offer clowns for children that suffer or die.

I dont know if you care to translate (bablefish or through transaltion button on page) - but here are the articles I did about the weird clowns symbol and it's hunger for KIDS:

American / A Mercian ?

Mercia's exact evolution from the Anglo-Saxon invasions is more obscure than that of Northumbria, Kent, or even Wessex. Archaeological surveys show that Angles settled the lands north of the River Thames by the sixth century. The name Mercia is Old English for "boundary folk" (see marches), and the traditional interpretation was that the kingdom originated along the frontier between the Welsh and the Anglo-Saxon invaders, although P. Hunter Blair has argued an alternative interpretation that they emerged along the frontier between the kingdom of Northumbria and the inhabitants of the Trent river valley.

The earliest king of Mercia of whom any details are known was Creoda, said to have been the great-grandson of Icel (see List of monarchs of Mercia). He came to power about 584 and built a fortress at Tamworth, which became the seat of the Mercian kings. He was succeeded by his son Pybba in 593. Cearl, a kinsman of Creoda, followed Pybba in 606; in 615, Cearl gave his daughter Cwenburga in marriage to Edwin, king of Deira whom he had sheltered while he was an exiled prince. The next Mercian king was Penda, who ruled from about 626 or 633 until 655. Some of what is known about Penda comes through the hostile account of Bede, who disliked him both for being an enemy king to Bede's own Northumbria, but also for being a pagan. However, Bede admits that it was Penda who freely allowed Christian missionaries from Lindisfarne into Mercia, and did not restrain them from preaching. After a reign of successful battles against all opponents, Penda was defeated and killed at the Battle of Winwaed by the Northumbrian king Oswiu in 655.

The battle led to a temporary collapse of Mercian power. Penda was succeeded first by his son Peada (who converted to Christianity at Repton in 653), but in the spring of 656 he was murdered and Oswiu assumed control of the whole of Mercia. A revolt in 658 resulted in the appearance of another son of Penda, Wulfhere, who ruled Mercia until his death in 675.

The "Island of Misfit Toys", another canonical addition to the original story, is an island sanctuary where defective and unwanted toys are sent. Among its inhabitants:

King Moonracer
- a winged lion who acts as the island's ruler. King Moonracer is responsible for flying around the world each night in search of unwanted toys.

Charlie-In-The-Box is a misnamed, but otherwise seemingly normal jack-in-the-box who acts as the island's sentry. Charlie is voiced by Carl Banas, who also voices several other toys in this scene.

Spotted Elephant is a polka dotted elephant and the island's valet.
Misfit Dolly is an unnamed, but seemingly normal girl rag doll. Her presence on the island is never explained on the special. According to NPR's Wait Wait… Don't Tell Me! news quiz show broadcast December 8, 2007, Arthur Rankin, in an interview, revealed that the Misfit Dolly's problem was psychological, caused when she was abandoned by her mistress and suffered depression from being unloved.

Bird Fish is a toy bird who swims instead of flies. This leads to a plot hole in the final credit sequence, when he is tossed out of Santa's sleigh without benefit of the parachutes/umbrellas being handed to the other toys.

A misfit cowboy who rides an ostrich.

Trainer, a train with square wheels on its caboose.

A toy boat that sinks rather than floats; a squirt gun that shoots grape jelly; an airplane that can't fly, a bear that rides a bike, and a scooter."

Major shooting was completed in May 2006.
It was filmed on location in Bacchus Marsh, Victoria

The fair scene in the story was filmed in

says wiki, but it wasn't BACHUS MARSH but
GREENDALE...and it gets better...

Yes, they are the hills & dales of Greendale.

Greendale Hotel

(formally the Medway) promises

It incorporates the towns general store.

Many visitors stop to wonder at the historic 1/2 church

just up from the hotel.
The “half church” was dedicated in August 1877
in its present shape to allow for possible future expansion.
A note in an early diary says,
“went to church, preacher was Mr Scott”.
Mr Scott was a lay reader with the
Church of England at Bacchus Marsh
but became more well known as “Captain Moonlite”,
one of Victoria’s most notorious bushrangers.
He was active in the district in the 1870s
and was finally arrested in New South Wales.
La Cote Homestead, which was located in La Cote Road,
was owned by Mr Shuter, a stipendiary magistrate,
before whom Captain Moonlite appeared.
Scott was eventually hanged in 1879.

DICK KNOWS / NOSE ??

A DICK, RED NOSE & GERMANY...

The Man in the High Castle's point of divergence from our own world occurred when President Franklin D. Roosevelt was assassinated in 1933 by Giuseppe Zangara. He was succeeded by Vice President John Nance Garner, who was subsequently replaced by John W. Bricker. Neither man was able to surmount the Great Depression, and both clung to an isolationist policy regarding the approaching war.

Post Luhrmann offers "Australia" as an escape from fear

Australia the 'promise land'...eh

Im not sure if you already posted on this but I just heard the commercial for it on tv and it was like "escape to, "Australia" ....

I know I seen that young boy before though in the picture down below in a post previous so idk...

Luhrmann offers "Australia" as an escape from fear

http://au.news.yahoo.com/a/-/enterta...hrmann-offers-
australia-escape-fear/

NEW YORK (Reuters) - The Outback epic "Australia" is director Baz Luhrmann's first film since he dazzled audiences with " Moulin Rouge !" seven years ago, and critics are wondering if the $130 million drama can live up to its hype.

Early reviews are mixed but generally warm for the movie, which makes its U.S. premiere on Monday, and while some critics say it might be an Oscar contender, a best director Academy Award could prove tough -- not that Luhrmann seems concerned.

"In a world where there's a lot of fear, I hope you can come out of the cinema after a few hours and feel like its been an enriching experience," he said in an interview, referring to the global financial crisis. "If you get a little bit of that and you have been entertained, then that is enough for me."

Starring Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman , "Australia" is the fourth film from Luhrmann, who co-wrote and directed the two-hour, 40-minute epic that is the most expensive film ever made in his homeland Australia .

It tells the tale of an English aristocrat, played by Kidman, who inherits a sprawling Outback property, falls in love with a rugged "drover" or cowboy, played by Jackman, and fights to adopt Nullah, a mixed-race boy.

They join forces to drive 1,500 head of cattle hundreds of miles across stunning yet brutal landscape in a bid to save her property and find themselves caught in the Japanese wartime bombing of Australia's tropical northern city of Darwin.

"I would be very surprised if he even got a (Academy Award best director) nomination," New York Post chief film critic Lou Lumenick told Reuters. "The early critical reception is very mixed, and I think the movie will be a tough sell in the U.S."

But the 20th Century Fox film is generating Oscar buzz in the best picture and best original screenplay categories.

"STRUGGLE EVERYDAY"

On the Los Angeles Times "The Envelope" buzzmeter, which ranks Academy Award chances according to the Times and other critics, "Australia" is currently seen fifth in the running for a best picture Oscar and third for best original screenplay.

The Movie City News' "Gurus o' Gold," another ranking of Oscar chances by a variety of critics, put "Australia" eighth in the running for best picture as of November 19.

Luhrmann burst onto the global stage in 1992 with "Strictly Ballroom," followed by "Romeo + Juliet" (1996) and " Moulin Rouge !" which combined have earned $390 million worldwide.

He was nominated for a best picture and best director Academy Award for " Moulin Rouge !," which also starred Kidman, while his wife, Catherine Martin, was nominated for a best art direction-set direction for "Romeo + Juliet" and then went on to win two Oscars for her work on " Moulin Rouge !"

Luhrmann, who grew up in the country town of Herons Creek, north of Sydney, spent four years working on "Australia" and said the scale of it had made it a struggle every day.

"Not giving up," he said was his greatest challenge. "Not succumbing to the relentless and endless difficultly of it, it was just relentless, psychologically and physically."

Variety critic Todd McCarthy described the film as "a luxurious bumpy ride; like a Rolls-Royce on a rocky country road, it's full of bounces and lurches, but you can't really complain about the seat."

In London, The Times' Anne Barrowclough gave the film four out of five stars, saying "it describes an Australia of the 1940s that is at once compellingly, beautiful and breathtakingly cruel."

Gypsy Joker bikie shot off Harley
with girl passenger

Article from: The Daily Telegraph

By Ashlee Pleffer

December 03, 2008 06:30am

A MAN was shot three times
while riding a motorbike
with a female passenger
in Sydney's west last night.

It was one of an alarming spate of firearms incidents across Sydney
in the last 24 hours, including a youth being charged over
a house shoot-up and man being "accidentally" blasted by a companion.

And on Saturday, a man was shot in the head when a car was
riddled with bullets at Seven Hills.

But new statistics show Aussies are more likely to be stabbed
than shot to death.

Just before midnight, there were reports of gunfire on
the Great Western Highway, Wentworthville, near Mays Hill.

A Harley Davidson motorcycle was travelling east along the highway
with a pillion passenger, when a dark coloured sedan
fired a number of shots at the motorcycle.

The male driver was shot three times,
wice in the arm and once in the chest.

His female passenger was not hit by the shots,
but both were taken to Westmead hospital.

Their injuries aren't life threatening.

The Harley Davidson had a sticker which read
"Respect your local Gypsy Joker" on its side,
referring to the notorious bikie gang.

Three of the four eastbound lanes were closed
up until 5am this morning, as police established a crime scene.

Now I have a friend here telling me this is a waste of time
because "THEY ALWAYS CHANGE THE CODES"...but we KNOW that,
CODES always have to be "tweeked", BUT there are still KEYS, to KEYS,
to KEYS...and they have a terrible habit of being tied to "The Bible"...
you know, that book that NONE OF "THEM" want YOU to STUDY for
YOURSELF...just ACCEPT the LIES "They" tell you it contains...and,
CONVINCE folk are so, THROUGH "ARTS" and "ENTERTAINMENTS"...

while using them to LAUGH AT US
for NOT TRUSTING GOD'S LIVING WORD...

The book’s central plot concerns a plan to
liberate all the animals from the Vienna Zoo,
as happened just after the conclusion of World War II.

Irving’s two protagonists—Graff, a young Austrian college student,
and Siggy (NUKE ZIGGY Switkowski),
an eccentric motorcycle mechanic-come-philosopher—
meet and embark on an adventure-filled motorcycle tour
of Austria
before the novel’s climax:
"the great zoo bust".

...but as is getting too common these days,
