Grand piano on sandbar mystifies Miami A grand piano weighs about 300 kilograms, and this one has been placed on the high spot of a sandbar, drawing stares from residents of a condominium about 200 metres away while serving as a perch for pelicans and seagulls. So far, no explanation has surfaced to explain the appearance of the grand piano. One theory suggests it was a prop for a music video, but local officials were unaware of any shoot. Jeff Peel, who heads Miami-Dade County's office of film and entertainment, told the Miami Herald that he "got a real chuckle out of it. It's a great image.'' But as to who put it there, "We don't know a thing about it.'' Jorge Pino, a spokesman for Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, said the agency is not responsible for moving such items. And unless it becomes a navigational hazard, the U.S. Coast Guard won't get involved, he said. That might happen as soon as the next good storm, however. A photograph of the piano on the National Geographic website shows it well awash at high tide, surrounded by pelicans enjoying the perch while they can.  The piano sits at the end of the sandbar - where it is highest, so that it is least likely to be swept away by the tide  It's a tuneful mystery that has struck a chord with residents in Miami's Biscayne Bay...a 650lbs grand piano has appeared on a sandbank. Exactly how it got there, nobody seems to know...and as yet no-one has turned up to tinkle the ivories. BIGBIRD, PINO, VOGEL... in german the Sesame Bird is called BIBO. The german stupid junglecamp show is on since several days. They sent ex-celebrities to the australian djungle where they have to hang out, eat cockroaches and crocodile, and each day the people in front of their tv's call and sent one of them home. Anyway. Tonight two of the stupid ones in the 'camp' had to get into an EMU (bigbird) bawn. They had to wear some stupid jumpsuits. One of them was yellow and the moderators called him BIBO from the SESAME street. Thought thats a funny coincidence:    BIGBIRD, PINO, VOGEL... also points to PINERA (Pino...) and the FENIX (Bigbird, Pheonix)

I've been looking at that famous saying To Be or Not to Be. I'll try and put something together if I can, I did start it this morning but, left it. If and when I can put something together I'll let you all know. It's funny how I was born in 1953 though isn't it? and then we have Ohm's Law.

Another thing I've just thought about is, isn't it funny how the poppy is used to make drugs that cause violence and sickness and yet it's used as a symbol of remembrance for those who have died fighting for something they believed in.
