CBC is reporting it as a 2m Tsunami warning. Either way, not good.

Yeah, that would be great....except another quake and tsunami of any size is probably not the best solution for a country that still has people in those areas with nowhere to go plus a crippled nuclear coastal powerplant...

But hey, if the dead bodies and wreckage are taken away to sea, no problems, right? Out of sight out of mind?

EXCEPT, this tsunami most likely wouldn't do that. It would be bringing in more sludge and spread debris around the entire area again. You don't use a tsunami to clean up after a tsunami. Plus, you can count on adding a few more bodies to the wreckage as people are still in that area. Unless the the tsunami washed away the entire island debris clearing one side to the other (let's assume no fatalities), then dumping it all in the sea, where it magically disintegrated without contaminating the water, only then would I agree that there is the possibility that another tsunami is a good thing.

If you were kidding, that's not cool dude.

some people believe that it is extremely important that the water is drained out of the Yellowstone lake b4 it blows

when water is super-heated it expands massively and a large amount of the explosive force is due to water coming into contact with hot magma

if the water is removed, the effect will be far less.

Just found this. Another one in Japan.

Magnitude 6.1 - KYUSHU, JAPAN 2011 April 09 12:57:49 UTC

You want to know when there is going to be a major earthquake? Keep an eye on this thread.

http://forum.davidicke.com/showthread.php?t=162022

This cursed corpse I call a body has predicted 7 out of the last 8 rq's above 6, at lesat on land. I missed the 7.1 in Japan earlier this weeks because I had goe out during the day, which messed up my interpretation of the signs.

She has some health issues that she needs to deal with. Unfortunately these were affected for the worse by all the negativity some of the trolls on this forum are famous for generating. She simply got to the point that she had to decide what was more important, her health or contributing to this forum.

I Pm'ed her a couple of days ago, havent heard from her yet.

Im not sure it is a question of weakness of character. When a medical issue leaves you with a finite amount of energy to get yo through the day, the lsat thing you want to do is spend it arguing with idiots.

I hope she doesnt get mad at me for saying this, but she was also having trouble with her sight and dexterity. It was getting harder for her to read and type, an additional drain on already taxed energy supplies. Im actually surprised and inpressed she held out as long as she did.

Have you checked out just how man quakes there have been in this area? I usuall go to the usgs website, and its kind of trick to get the exact area. but the section of the map covering Honshu etc, where the last few big quakes have been, has been active for weeks. Even now it is showing 55 quakes in the last week alone. Thats 8 a day folks, yet we only hear about the bigger ones.
