Very sad news indeed. I hope the death toll doesn't climb much higher.

75 people confirmed dead.
300 people still missing. 65 after shocks in the last 24 Hrs. Rescue of the CTV building has been halted, no more survivors. No word from Lyttleton as to damage or if anyone was killed there. Very sad people were just getting over the last Quake 6 months ago.Edit: It is a tiny town at the heart of the jolt - and it shows. Lyttelton, the pretty port village that proudly proclaims itself as the gateway to Christchurch, has been devastated by the 6.3 magnitude earthquake that struck New Zealand's second largest city just before 1pm (11am AEDT) on Tuesday. Every second building in the town's main London Street has been severely damaged by the quake, with cordons closing off one block deemed uninhabitable. Several of the most picturesque brick buildings admired by flocks of tourists from Australia and the world, have collapsed into a pile of rubble. The town's oldest churches are among the casualties. A car was flattened, just the wing mirrors poking through bricks. Several building facades had fallen away, exposing the intimate insides of family homes. In one, a kitchen table bears the remains of a lunch interrupted. In the hills above the main road, there are bare spots where houses once stood. The on-the-ground assessment is the first one since a windy road into the seafarers' settlement was re-opened early on Wednesday morning. Main access through a road tunnel under the Port Hills was cut off after the quake and remains closed. Arriving in the town at 6am (4am AEDT), Lyttelton was cloaked in darkness, the only glow the lights from HMAS Canterbury docked in the port. In a stroke of good luck, the frigate arrived the morning of the disaster. A generator also hummed at the local ambulance station where St John area commander Pete Dawson, a local, told AAP how devastating it was to see his town destroyed. 'Just look at it,' he said, waving his arm down London Street. 'It's a mess, totally destroyed. 'It's very difficult. We've lost so many of our best buildings and homes,' said Dawson, himself now homeless. The town had also lost two men, one elderly and another young. Dawson said they were walking on a mountain track when they were hit by falling rocks. A few Australian tourists had been in to seek assistance, but they seemed 'like happy chappies' and went on their way. He said the town enjoyed great patronage from across the Tasman and he hoped that could continue. 'We'll rebuild. Of course, we will. We're resilient people, we're Cantabrians, you know. And we've got a World Cup to look forward to,' he said with a laugh. The tiny town of Lyttelton has been devastated by NZ's 6.3 magnitude earthquake..

To be honest, it hasn't sunk in yet. With the ongoing aftershocks and having to move my partners mum in with us because her building is stuffed, I haven't really had alot of time to mull things over.

This Earthquake Is Another HAARP Demonstration.
Same force on the richter scale as the other manipulated ones. The Globalists are [ressing ahead thick and fast now with their plans as they fear the mass awakenings. Are they moving too fast though?I just watched this short film on You Tube and I would say it does as well at summing up the globalists plans in 5 minutes as most documentaries do in 3 hours. The film is called "The Banker". They guy who plays the part conveys the cold lack of empathy that the elite feel towards us perfectly. A must watch. Perfect for doubters who have short attention spans. Enjoy The Banker This one needs to go viral! Its sitting at 144,000 views so it looks like it may be reaching everyone. |

A work colleague's daughter is in Christchurch. her house has been trashed inside and they don't yet know if it is still structurally sound, but otherwise they are unhurt - tho it has scared her witless. She told him of a friend who picked her baby up from the floor where he was playing, and a few seconds later that space was occupied by a falling TV. You have the support and good wishes of every right thinking person. |

My heart felt condolences to the family and you. What a terrible way to die ![]() I wish they could have done more to help, I was just saying that to the missus before. I was a bit anger that they didn't put more of an effort in but I don't know what was going on in reality. I'm only making assumptions on something I cant really comprehend.
