No. Canada is probably one of the most liberal countries in the world when it comes to pot, but they'll never legalize it completely. It's used for medical applications, you can also be prescribed a synthetic pot called Nabilene. For depression. The criminal end of it seems to be diminishing, police tend to not bother with pot related offences in the major cities, unless it's substantial, and making lots of uncounted dollars. The closest they will come is decriminalizing the possession of pot under a certain amount -- an oz, or something like that.

I don't just "sit around" when I'm stoned. I'm a very active stoner than you very much.

But like was posted above, you have to understand the broad usefulness of Hemp and the politics behind it along with the introduction of Cannabis in the US by mexicans in order to understand why Cannabis is illegal in the first place, and will remain so for a while.

Never. But until you're caught with it you're not doing anything illegal so be careful when smoking or growing and you'll be fine. If only I had the space

The lobbing is mainly coming from corporations who fear (and rightly so) massive losses in some area of their business by the decriminalisation of cannabis. They lobby the U.S. government and as usual the U.S. government pushes it's weight around the world until everyone follows suit. Then you have a century of conditioning, demonising cannabis, I guarantee you decriminalisation won't sit well with half the population of any country.

The PTB are also fully aware that stoners tend to think for themselves and question everything, cannabis also inspires right brained creativity in people as opposed to the left brain analytical biobot the PTB condition us to be. They don't want a bunch of peace loving hippies sttting around all day playing guitar and making love lol, they want you stressed out on caffeine in a factory all day and swilling down alcohol, stupefying yourself in the evenings.

Read this for a history of cannabis and it becomes clear why cannabis is still illegal.
Great work!

I reckon it'll get legalised along with more drugs eventually, during the early years of the NWO. After it all becoming a police state, and its all like a demolition man cliche. I can see them legalising all sorts of drugs. But first they need to stop it all don't they, before they can control it on the streets. They only control it from the top down.

Plus keeping it a criminal offence, is what I reckon causes the most supposed 'phsychiatric' problems in ganja smokers, as it generates mass amounts of paranoia in some people that let it consume them.
