Default Rosacea

Been diagnosed with this terribly annoying condition 6 months ago. Ive found the only cream that works fairly well is sudacreme. Tried some natural creams but to no effect. I dont suppose anybody has any tips or alternative treatments?
peace out

You might wish to try taking the herb Milk Thistle, as this condition can be linked in TCM to the liver.

Hey,
I too suffer from rosacea and it annoys the hell out of me. It seems to be a condition that is very hard to treat.I know some people who have tried Intense Pulsed Lighting which seems to help but it is expensive. Also, a green mositurizer may help in neutralizing any redness.
All the best

Can you recommend a brand or outlet for getting this?

I got mine off ebay, shop about on there as there are some good deals. Just make sure you get 400mg+ tablets as the lower dose ones arent worth it. The ones i got are Swanson full spectrum milk thistle...

i seem to suffer from this condition even though i am quite young. after talking to a few people ive established its definitely related to diet. doctor prescribed me some non-steroid creme but i dont trust big pharma even with something this simple =/
Im booked in for an allergy test in a month. not heard of the milk thistle so will try that....
keep updating us!

Hi, i have had this 'condition' since the age of 16/17 (now 41), i tried for years to pin point the cause, ginger, garlic, cheese, chili, bread, milk, coffee, meat just about everything i could think of, more recently i got a breakthrough, none other than good old monosodium glutamate, id noticed that having chinese, indian seemed to flare the redness more and the less msg i had the less it would flare up.

Obviously it is very hard to completely cut msg out of the diet (cos its in mostly everthing), but limiting it and having more veggies raw and cooked drastically reduces the effects.

In the meantime i have used eumovate cream (dont like to subscibe to big pharma but this seems to ease the symptoms) use sparingly as it can thin the skin,of late i also tried a few different concoctions of sodium bicard/ apple cider vinegar/ virgin coconut oil/other oils topically which seemed to work but beware as it can irritate/sting and bring on redness for a good few hours but has prolonged good results.

Good luck and trawl natural health sites like earthclicnic, curezone, natural news for good ideas, there is plenty info for experimentation.

When taking any kind of tablets you may want to consider the binding compound which is used in 99.9% of tablet remedies (even so called health food remedies) magnesium sterate, calcium sterate, steric acid, this is bad news stuff for general well being of cells, please research this rubbish out.
If possible try to get it in its most natural form.

thanks for the thoughts. Ive been going to health shops for around a year now....i talk to the owners often and they tell me everything they know on these subjects. Unfortunately, they also seem under the influence of 'the system' and they don't appear to be half as clued-up as some of the individuals on this site and others.
anyways, I went to the health shop today and spent a fair amount of money. I purchased a lot of tablets for my rosacea and my arm problems....and then I read your post!
low and behold, the organic sulphur, glucosamine, and milk thistle all contain your magnesium stearate!
chemistry was the one subject at school that I was never any good at, so this is all very frustrating to me!! The Omega 3 oils and viridian multivitamins I bought appear sterate free.....but is there NO escape??!?!?!

I was worried that the so called health companies are just the same as all the others if you go high enough within them. my health shop friends assure me that this is not the case, but hey. They say maybe avoid solgar products, but viridian and natures aid are trustworthy....

So do some of you guys not even shop at normal health stores?
Are there any super-health stores?!

My diet was awful for many years...my parents did not do me any favours educating me on that one. Nowadays though I have tried to implement a better diet, but I still have a long way to go. Most fruit goes down easy, but veg im not so sure! Although its difficult, I will be making a conscious effort in future to consume as much fresh and uncooked vegetables as possible. im sure time and practice will do the trick....

I will research this, but do you think I should refrain from the stearate tablets?!?
my, what I headache this all is!
damn reptilians!

thanks guys

It is indeed a headache as the big guys at the top have all bases covered.....however, without getting into how and why a choice has to be given and the super health food store is right outside the back door, as well as a bit of searching from within also online research mixed with old wifes tales and the truth will almost certainly find you.

As i say i still 'suffer' from the condition but through certain procedures and thought patterns can keep it under control. The Stearate tablet thing is one only you can answer, dont take my word for it check it out yourself (as with everything). Hope you get good results.
