Hey everyone, nice find with the 'my hed iz pasted on!' biblegirl, I see Mike is still playing the 'I did it for the lulz' role. Hudepohl, rather than mocking us for not buying into MQ, why don't you refute some of the things we're saying? That would be more helpful, we need skeptics to question us so we can make sure we're not on the wrong track.

Oh and Mike, I've very sad you haven't posted pictures of your freakishly skinny legs, worried wifey would get jealous? How come you didn't answer my request for more footage of your ingenius Bitey impression, Mike? If you don't want to do a few more ghillie runs to make us believe you then the least you could do is say no. I'm hurt, really I am.

How anyone can say nothing has been done to Mike's run is beyond me, if that's what it really looked like what are the motion blurs then? Why are there little stutters of movement ever few seconds? Is this why Mike has been ignoring the request for more footage of him doing dogman runs?

Yeah i'm not sure what to say about the special effects here. The most obvious one of course is that they've changed colors mid run. That can't be denied. Have they sped it up or otherwise tinkered with it? It kind of looks like it but I'm still not sure. Even with the tinkering though, we can see that "man in suit" was not in fact bitey. Cmon Monsterquest!

Damnit,..... I was going to read ALL of this thread before I begin to discuss, but you people don't seem to be paying attention..... so I'll re-iterate with this post.....

..... This "Hoax" wasn't meant to leave Northern Michigan. My film was simply an elaboration upon Steve Cook's song..... nothing more.

MY attempt at promoting it failed. I listed my film on eBay and e-mailed links to the auction to every TV station in Northern Michigan, hoping that someone would realize that this was "The Year Of The Dogman" and buy the film and show five or ten seconds of it on the nightly news... in an attempt to re-invigorate the MASS HYSTERIA that Steve's song generated in 1987.

.....But NOBODY wanted to touch it. Steve's song was copyrighted, and no-one was going to get involved with it. (Besides,..... April Fool's day had passed a few weeks prior).

So I ended the auction without a bid and gave the film to Steve Cook. He paid to have it transferred to a digital file, and uploaded it onto his website.

.....THEN it went worldwide!!!

You Crypto-Dudes turned it into what it became,..... Steve and I just went along with it.

This was never meant to be a Patterson-Gimlin type of Hoax,..... just a local Northern Michigan campfire story. There were never any aspirations of personal gain from these productions,..... it was all just done in fun.

You don't believe me?,..... well don't.

I shall continue to point and laugh at my silly dancing puppets.
