Certainly does seem to be more to it. Found this:

The trainer was the third person whose death was blamed on this particular animal, named Tilikum, which drowned another trainer in 1991 and probably killed a man who sneaked into Sea World in 1999. Can an animal really develop "a taste for human blood"?

wtf

Hence "the show" -- the frustration...the animal is angry and trying to get the attention of onlookers.........animals act upon instinct. Just like birds can detect earth tragedies, ya know?

Have you read this thread?

Nice food for thought wolfhead. I like it ALOT! Awesome

Yep...this has all been posted before when the story first broke out.

They [Disney] knew what they were taking on. This whale has been in captivity for 30 years and killed before.

So why didn't they put protective measures in place for the trainers?

Why allow the trainers think that they had built all this trust and love and be deluded into thinking that nothing would ever happen to them?

This is no coincidence if you read up on Disney history.

Exactly, wouldn't surprise me if they did something to make it tick and boom, a nice little Vancouver death to add to the ritual list.

Disney spews out teenage characters from its womb at will, and captures animals and enslaves them for profit.

They literally manufacture them in some Disney star planet in LA. FUN STUFF.

When I re-incarnate I want to be a Jonas Sister.

XOXO

Makes you wonder if it's just a simple case of valuing money over life, or if there's something more sinister going on

You really are here to undermine the seriousness of this thread, aren't you?

This tragedy has been expected. A whale already killed 2 times.
And since it's Disney, and that means everything is about money and profit, they know that nothing sells better than death (and sex of course)

That's what I've always suspected.

I know that we can never account for the unknown animalistic true nature of creatures such as this..............but it's strange that it would turn on its best trainer out of the blue like this.

Perhaps it was given a jab or didn't get it's usual order of the day type captivity daily routine.

But despite any speculation on that side of things, Disney still didn't put any emergency or contingency plans in place despite this massive killer whale killing at least twice before.

Indeed, mara.

If only more people would really do some research and investigate the 'true' agenda of Disney.

You can't really see anything. You can see a girl standing at the edge of the pool towards the end, and a guy in the water, but you can't really see what's going on - plus the crowd doesn't seem to be in panic or anything.

Well, I was very surprise to find out that many people who are not into 'conspiracy theory' really have bad opinion about Disney and the value of his work (shallow entertainment, abusing animals...).
Attacking him is like attacking the pharmaco industry...Disney is in schools, kids study about him as a great man...If only they knew the truth.

That's up to you.

However, I just don't get your humour, that's all.

What's all this talk of 'tranquilizing' the animal?

For incidents like this, a harpoon should be used. They're not going to let an animal live after something like this anyway...

The whale has been in there for 20 years that's disgusting. Not at all surprised that this happened.
