Well, she's always been a foreign correspondent for the BBC so I expect she's working out of Africa or something like that. Not before the BBC did their cover-up job and cleared her of any wrong doing...

Depends on how far you're willing to go with TV Fakery. The September Clues crowd go all out and say that everything was faked so yes - she was stood in front of a blue screen.

I don't go that far - I think the plane crash footage was faked. I think she was there and that is the NY skyline behind her. She looks like she's in a hotel or something. The BBC were told about WTC7 too early so they ran with the story. Jane didn't know which building she was talking about, she was just going through her repeater motions...

Perhaps she too was fake, like all the imaginary victims and the imaginary planes, crashes, debris, flight data, collapses, orbs, witches, clouds and Manhattan. Or maybe it was an innocent cock-up amidst a hectic news day.

Maybe she was blue/green screened. If you have a search around you'll see she was at the same location as one of the American broadcasters (not sure if CNN or ABC) think September Clues show it.

Maybe, just maybe, she was the latest in CGI tech. I do doubt that, but ol' Max Headroom in my avatar must have had some major improvements between the mid 80's and 2001

Have you got another news clip for any time since TV began where a news presenter announces something and it happens 20 minutes later. ?

The whole point is that there was so much happening on 9/11 and quality control wasn't always up to scratch and a news feed from an agency on a secondary story was duff.

Truthers like to make some big deal of a mistake because they haven't come near to any evidence that there were any explosions when the towers or WTC7 collapsed.

So, since TV was invented there must have been hundreds of millions of hours TV news coverage and the only time a "mistake" actually came true was on 9/11/01 ?

Do you not think the particular circumstances of 9/11 were chaotic enough to contribute to the possibility of such an occurrence? It is certainly not the first time the news has been wrong about something, but given that the building's collapse had been anticipated by the emergency services, it's entirely plausible that communication breakdowns ensued. Except of course that in this instance a certain minority want to believe that every single chance occurrence was part of some greater conspiracy.
