Default Masonic Treasure Numbers: 13 and 23

Two of the most important numbers in treasure hunting are "13" and "23".
Believe it or not, they both "work together". I know that some have claimed that the Owl used by the Masons is called "The Owl of Isis", but in treasure hunting, this same Owl is called "The Owl of Minerva".
The owl, in treasure hunting, represents an accumulation room, or, "an accumulation of the metals from the mines in this area". In other words, these mines are usually located in hard to reach places. When I say hard to reach, I mean that the mule trains used to haul this precious metal "to port" cannot easily make the trip from these mines while "under the burden" of two to three hundred pounds of gold or silver, the terrain from these mines is usually too rough for them. In order to make it easier for this cargo to be hauled to the shipping ports by mule, treasure accumulation rooms were established on the out-skirts of a mining area, in an easily accessed area, with all the metals from these mines being accumulated in one location. You might have 10 to 100 mines "contributing" to just one, easily accessed accumulation room.
When the number "13" is found carved on boulders or shear rock faces, it means "The Owl of Minerva", and that you are to "look for the signs leading to the accumulation room". Sometimes you will just find the letter "M" carved onto stone, and this has the same meaning, "The Owl of Minerva", and to "look for signs leading to a treasure room".
There are times, when following a treasure trail and you have "been mislead", and you will find another symbol associated to the "M". This other letter is the "W", or, an "upside-down M". The "W" has a "value" of 23 (again, the "M" has a value of 13), and this "W" tells you that "you are on a false trail, that you have been "turned upside down" and have missed the true location of the treasure accumulation room".

Hey that Joseph Smith looks a little like richard Gere...maybe it was him in a past life.

Joseph Smith, Jr. (December 23, 1805 – June 27, 1844) was an American religious leader and founder of the Latter Day Saint movement, which gave rise to Mormonism. At age twenty-four Smith published the Book of Mormon, and in the next fourteen years he gathered thousands of followers, built cities and temples, and created a religious culture that survived his death.

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,Mr Gere is a descendant of Mayflower Pilgrims Francis Eaton, John Billington, George Soule, Richard Warren, Degory Priest, William Brewster, and Francis Cooke
