Someones next door neighbour might wake up one morning and decide he wants to go on a raping, pillaging and murdering spree, he's got the free will to do it because he can make that choice for himself, doesn't mean it's a good or positive thing to do and doesn't mean everyone else aint going to be somewhat angry and pissed off and wanna lock him up.

In the end free will is still what lifes purpose is, there is no other meaning, we're born here we do what we like and then die. Others might not like what you decide to do whilst you're here but the free will is still there.

Free choice is only an illusion if someone else controls it, like someone only supplying a red pen and a blue pen when in reality you want a yellow one, you can't have the yellow one, but fundamentally we still have free will, if we were (as individuals) the only person in the entire universe there would be nobody there to try and control your choices. The free will is there, someone chooses the 1 over the 0 and vice versa but it's not just 1 and 0 there's multiple choice.
