Communication with trees

Trees are living beings and have a spirit and soul like us.
When i say close encounter,i mean as in you talk(verbally or mentally) to a tree and it responds.
I have had this twice in my life and i know of at least one more forum member who has also.

Certainly and not just trees but shrubs, bushes, other plants too that I care for. I have one tree in particular that has brought me to tears at times with such love. Its a great success story this one. All odds against it and it is alive and well now surviving quite a storm trauma before becoming the most beautiful addition to my back yard that it is today and all with a little prop up to it's being called love.

I know it a bit corny but go and hug a tree.

It's wonderful and a lot of peace can be felt from them, tree's have so much power and passion.

For winter heat I have a fire place and get most of my wood from the land I live on, it doesn't have many dead tree's to take but the amazing thing is when I need one and there isn't a dead one around, one drops.

I really hate taking a tree's life and I've only done it once, paid my respects and thanked the tree and hugged it for quite awhile.

There's a book out that can help anyone connect with plants or tree's if you have trouble doing that.
