Default SLAP tears or sports injuries?

I'm wondering how to heal something like a SLAP tear in the upper body near the chest/shoulder area which was aquired from weightlifting while doing an overhead shoulder press type thing?

I used to be big into bodybuilding. I watched a Larry Scott video where he advised to always do shoulder presses with dumbells rather than a barbell, due to the potentially damaging restrictive movement that a barbell demands.

Sorry no advice on healing.. just thought you might be interested.

Yeah, I'm not really interested in understanding how NOT to hurt myself since I've already done it...

Good news is that I've heard several regenerative techniques that can reattach the ligament to the bone, and anything is certainly possible --- meaning my shoulder area will heal, I just have to find the right method...
