![]() Ramsau is a German municipality in the Bavarian Alps with a population of around 1,800. It is located in the district of Berchtesgadener Land in Bavaria, close to the border with Austria, 35 km south of Salzburg and 150 km south-east of Munich. It is situated north of the Berchtesgaden National Park. Ramsau is famous for its high mountains, including the third highest mountain in Germany, the fabled Mount Watzmann (2713 m), and for the lake Hintersee. The church of Ramsau is often on postcards... ![]() Last edited by lightgiver; 08-07-2012 at 02:35 AM. |

The net cost of the EU budget to Britain is £28 billion pa*. But the actual cost - direct and indirect - is much more than that.
Last time it was calculated, in 2008, the European Union was costing us £65 billion gross every year. That's about £1,000 each every year for every man, woman and child in the UK. It increases every year, so it will be a lot more now. Estimates of the true cost of the EU are difficult to come by. MPs have called many times for a cost-benefit analysis, to prove or disprove the benefits of membership. Successive Governments, both Labour and Conservative, have refused, on the grounds that the "benefits" are self-evident. In truth they are afraid of what such a study would show. The Bruges Group finally produced an authoritative study in 2008. The total gross cost to the UK of EU membership in 2008 they estimate at around £65,000,000,000* - including: £28 billion for business to comply with EU regulations, £17 billion of additional food costs resulting from the Common Agricultural Policy £3.3 billion - the value of the catch lost when the Common Fisheries Policy let other countries fish in our territorial waters £14.6 billion gross paid into the EU budget and other EU funds. It gets worse each year. ![]() Historically the name refers to the Bavarian Illuminati, an Enlightenment-era secret society founded on May 1, 1776...The Illuminati, from the Latin for illuminated/enlightened (ones)..Roughly translated ... THE MONEY MASTERS is a historical documentary that traces the origins of the political power structure. The modern political power structure has its roots in the hidden manipulation and accumulation of gold and other forms of money. The development of fractional reserve banking practices in the 17th century brought to a cunning sophistication the secret techniques initially used by goldsmiths fraudulently to accumulate wealth. With the formation of the privately-owned Bank of England in 1694, the yoke of economic slavery to a privately-owned "central" bank was first forced upon the backs of an entire nation, not removed but only made heavier with the passing of the three centuries to our day. Nation after nation has fallen prey to this cabal of international central bankers... http://www.democracymovementsurrey.c...k_eucosts.html Last edited by lightgiver; 08-07-2012 at 02:44 AM. |

So to get back to the subject, in the last issue of Freemasonry Today, there was an article about the Grand Secretary's tour of the Country, interviews at various radio and television stations and newspapers.
There seems to be a concerted effort being made to open up Freemasonry and dispel the myths surrounding it. So far there has been an amazing amount of positive feedback, despite what one would imagine from this and other Conspiracy and anti - masonry websites the vast majority of people in the wold today view Freemasonry in a positive to ambivalent light. I am sure that should anyone wish to visit the Cambridge Masonic centre in the UK they would be made very welcome. Just bring something to feed the Goat.....

I currently know several masons who are friends and have been friends with masons in the past, and I can confirm that none of them were reptilian shapeshifters... Apart from my old middle school history teacher that is!

Here is some news on this matter. On Saturday 22nd September (from 10.00 am - 4.30 pm) The UGLE Freemasons' Hall, 60 Great Queen Street, London WC2 (Kingsway/Holborn/Covent Garden area) will open its doors to visitors. This is part of the Open House London Weekend, this is London's largest architectural event. The current Grade II art deco building is the third masonic hall on this two-and-a-quarter acre site in the heart of London. Last year Freemason's Hall had nearly 3,000 visitors on the day. - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freemasons'_Hall,_London

I didn't see the beacon (I avoided anything to do with the jubilee) but I did hear that masons with high-visibility jackets with big ol' letters spelling 'Isle of Wight Masons' on the back were building it on Appley beach. |
