Default Online software defined radio / listening to HAARP

As a junior level Ham operator, I found out about software radio's.
In normal language, you can operate and listen to some HAM radio bands online. Here is the full list of these stations. http://www.websdr.org/

Haarp is able to broadcast 0.9 HZ, these waves are twice the earth's diameter!

Other frequencies that Haarp uses are 3.39 MHZ or 6.90 Mhz
In Khz this is 3390 KHZ and 6900 Khz.

This SDR on http://websdr-next.radio.it/ can go until 3398 Khz,
so if haarp should use this frequency it should be visible.

When watching the waterfall spectrum, some strange things appear. Signals that can only be artificial. Sometimes I see a cascade of frequencies passing and I have no clue what they are. Sonar, radar, disturbance or maybe natural, who knows.

After using these SDR's for a short while, you'll notice signals every 5 or 10 khz. They look artificial to me.

My favourite station is http://websdr.ewi.utwente.nl:8901/

Back in the day, I studied amateur radio (HAM) and was fascinated with radios and antennas. I also discovered sideband CB radio... lots of fun "shooting skip" and no license needed. I never did follow through on the HAM license, but continued to study, especially antenna design. Thanks for the info about online software radio. I use Linux (Ubuntu) and might not have current java. I'll ask around the Ubuntu forums for solution. By the way, I still have an old school multi-band radio (with shortwave) that my father-in-law got at a yard sale for 5 bucks
