“Our first advance upwards was to the Lower heaven... and there we saw the Angel of those Holy ones, giving forth a flaming light, brilliant and lofty. And I asked Sarosh the holy and Âzar the angel: - “What is this place; and these, who are they?” We are then told that Artâ ascended similarly to the Second and Third heavens, and to many others beyond.

Rising from a gold-covered throne, Bahman the Archangel led me on, till he and I met Ormazd with a company of angels and heavenly leaders, all adorned so brightly that I had never seen the like before.

My leader said: This is Ormazd. I sought to salaam to him, and he said he was glad to welcome me from the passing world to that bright and undefiled place. Then he bade Sarosh and the Fire-angel to shew me the blessed place prepared for the holy, and that also for the punishment of the wicked. After which they carried me along till I beheld the Archangels and the other Angels.”

Thanks Michael.

You may also find it interesting that the pre-Islam religion of Zoroastrianism made Zoroastrians duty bound to pray 5 times a day aswell.

Palestinian Muslim women pray inside the Dome of the Rock Mosque, during the first Friday prayers of the holy fasting month of Ramadan in the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in Jerusalem’s Old City, Friday, Sept. 5, 2008. Around 90,000 Muslims congregated in Jerusalem for the first Friday prayers of the holy month of Ramadan. AP / Muhammed Muheisen

Yep. The holy of holies would be where our head is, and would either represent an enlightened mind or an activated pineal gland/chakra. This is possibly the reason the side of our head is called the Temple. In esoteric spirituality/philosophy, though, the human body is typically seen as a microcosm of the universe. The temple being an allegory doesn't mean they didn't actually build a real temple as a representation of it: our head/mind is the temple in our body, whereas Solomons Temple was the sacred temple in the universe/on earth.
