Detention camp Setup for DNC Protestors and Mass Arrests

The Colorado Independent connects the dots.

Denver officials weren't planning to reveal details about where activists would be detained in the event of mass arrests during the Democratic National Convention until after the event had started, but those plans were quickly dashed this week when CBS 4News reporter Rick Sallinger not only revealed that protesters would be locked up in a city-owned warehouse, but he also obtained clear video footage inside the facility, a building that includes barbed wire-topped cages and signs warning of stun-gun use.

The convention jail is located in a warehouse northeast of Denver, and when Sallinger arrived unannounced with a camera crew to shoot the facility, the door was wide open, allowing the disturbing images of caged holding pens to be broadcast on TVs across the metro area:

Investigative reporter Rick Sallinger discovered the location and managed to get inside Tuesday for a look. The newly created lockup, in a warehouse northeast of Denver, contains dozens of metal cages made of chain-link fence material, topped by rolls of barbed wire.

Each of these fenced-in areas is about 15 feet by 15 feet, with a lock on the door.

A sign on the wall reads "Warning, electric stun devices used in this facility."

If they do that for the Democrats, wonder what kind of "temporary" prison structure will be built for the RNC?

Anyway, as we see, heck, they don't NEED FEMA camps. They can just set up pens in any building, like an abandoned warehouse.

Yes, along with the American Civil Liberties Union I'd love to know about access to bathrooms, food, place to meet with LAWYERS, and as the reporter said . . . HOW LONG people can be detained . . .

I love the guy from the sheriff's dept. talking about their "game plan", like it's a sport.

Good reporting there. Obviously, they wanted to keep it a secret, but the word is out.

False Flag?

It seems the Denver Office of Emergency Management is planning for mass evacuations of the city during the week of the DNC. Does this mean that there is intel on a threat or that a flase flag is coming? Perhaps this is evidence of just a mere excersize to plan for the worse. You decide.

A member of We Are Change Colorado overheard a conversation by some people who worked for the Office of Emergency Management of Denver at a Denver restaurant where they work in waiting tables. They discussed multiple detention facilities that had already been acquired as well as others that were still in the process of trying to be obtained. Some facilities mentioned were “already a done deal” were “DPS (Denver Public Schools) facilities for Detention and because of their use as viable LZ’s” (which we are assuming means landing zones). They also stated that DPS knew of some of these facilities and some they didn’t know about” It was a noisy environment and the We Are Change Colorado member may have not heard everything in their conversation correctly. They also discussed the “FBI securing Coors Field for “their assets”" as well as the use of Invesco Field and the Denver Coliseum as ” Fully Equiped Decon facilities” (Again, we are assuming that this means decontamination). One said something to the effect of “these 3 decon facilities would not be able to support the number of people in Denver but in a lot of circumstances most die before they can reach a decon facility anyway so the numbers who actually make it should not be to many.”

The DNC convention was specifically mentioned several times and the Change Colorado member is 100% confident that is what all of these subjects pertained to. They discussed logistics of both getting emergency vehicles into the city in an emergency as well as the logistics of “evacuating the entire downtown metro area of Denver and the difficulties of such.” During this conversation with members who wore shirt identifying that they were members of Denver’s Office of Emergency Management, they discussed that approximately 20,000 people would die from the event of this “pandemic biological attack.”

Denver recently held a pandemic drill where vaccinations were offered at sites around the city. The drills were set up to specifically treat 20,000 victims. Could this be a coincidence?

We Are Change Colorado has been uncovering troubling warning signs preceding this year’s Democratic National Convention, set to take place in Denver from August 25-28, 2008. Protests and Riots Expected at DNC, Denver Police prepare holding facility

Protesters at the upcoming Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Denver in late August will be corralled into caged “free speech zones” made of chicken wire and chain link fences which are located more than two football fields from the delegates’ entrance. Those who attempt to exercise their First Amendment rights outside this makeshift cage, which is partially obscured by trees and sculptures, will be arrested.

Thanks so much for posting this, Cheeb. Perhaps LZ means LOADING ZONE, i.e. a place to round 'em up, load 'em up on buses, trucks, trains . .. and ship 'em off . .. . to El Grande FEMA Camp.

Intentionally "leaked," obviously, to discourage protests.

Odds of staged violence at the DNC seems very high to me. Possibly invoving
fake "truther groups" doing naughty things.

sometimes i believe that everything we know and we think its a secret is actually intentionally put there, because how come we never know of any ways in which they control or operate at high levels or even who actually is planning all this. when they want to do something they just leak it and its out there and everyone knows it. how come none of the important stuff comes out never? have you asked yourself how come its possible to keep these secrets forever.

But he didnt question the actual concept of this Detention Camp

You're absolutely right. Just like the so called terror laws that were supposedly made for so called terrorists are now being used on everyone and no one could dare to speak out because they will be painted with the same terrorism BS.
These camps are for future conflicts between state and freedom seeking individuals.
