Stockpiling stuff

I don't like to stockpile things. The problem is that I may have to. If EU decides that ALL lightbulbs should be of the cold, bleak and sterile low-energy type, then I will have to stockpile a lot of standard lightbulbs. The low-energy type of lightbulb could be useful in some places, but to have a LAW that forbids the use of any other form of lightbulbs is Orwellian top-down control. It's like the government making it against the law to produce products with sugar in them and only allow Aspartame to be used as a sweetener.

OR, I just got an idea, maybe the best choice is to not follow any fear-based path. To let the Orwellian Stasi fascist EU beaurocrats self-destruct!!! Because the future is in energy ABUNDANCE.

Hehe well can sometimes be a bit of a hoarder & I'm also stocking up on the normal lightbulbs cos I hate the energy efficient ones, especially after the health effects I've learned about now, but also the light that they emit, it's not nice imo

I'd like to stock up on knowledge so that if anything happened to the internet, as members of this site have warned, I'd have a fairly comprehensive database to refer to. I haven't done this yet.

Yep I read that too. They're gradually phasing out their production & will be unavailable from 2011 onwards I believe (could have that date wrong, but its something like that!)

No doubt the year 2012 is where their precious plan is meant to seal the fate of humanity forever. No more sugar allowed. Instead Aspartame will be only sweetener allowed. In their minds, resistance will be futile once the implantable microchip has become mandatory.

Yeah & to add to that list... Monsanto will have complete control of everything that grows (all GM!), no more natural health remedies will be available (classed as drugs & illegal), no more organic produce & gawd knows what else, if they have their way! I personally don't think it'll come to that, well I sincerely hope not anyway!
