Three killed in Tel Aviv gay bar shooting

A gunman killed three people and seriously wounded several others in a Tel Aviv gay bar tonight.

The attack happened in the basement of the popular Ha'agudah club where a group of teenagers were holding a meeting.

Israeli officials said the gunman, who fled the scene, sprayed the club with automatic rifle fire and six of the wounded were badly hurt.

Witnesses told Israeli media that the gunman was dressed all in black, and described the scene as a "bloodbath".

Nitzan Horowitz, Israel's only openly gay MP, condemned the "hate crime". He said: "This is without a doubt the worst ever incident targeting the gay community in Israel."

Coastal Tel Aviv has a vibrant gay scene, but open homosexuality is less welcome in conservative areas of Israel.

The al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade will most likely be blamed for this, its a PR stunt for Israeli sympathy. The Lucfierian Zionist Sascha Baron Cohen did his bit to provoke unrest with his recent antics, Tel-Aviv is known as Pink City for it's large gay community and lifestyle.

you don't hold meetings in basements if they're not about something you feel is important. maybe they were activists or something is what i'm saying. maybe they've been assassinated and the authorities are covering it up calling it a hate crime. i dunno, but saying it was a gay bar and then rolling your eyes seems to me like avoiding the issue with stupid jokes.
