Technically he died after being hung,drawn,and quartered for treason.
I wouldn't take the film with Mel Gibson too seriously.

Thats a little harsh, I think the term "artistic licence" covers it.

why not? its seems to be what happened to fmotl back then. maybe they are winning...they only get tasered and jailed now

Go to Stirling, pick up a Scottish History book or use the internet and find out just what rubbish that film is.
