I don't know anything about him really except that he drives trucks in the North. If you saw any of the media footage of the Convoy you would have seen Tony Abbott jump into Pattel's truck and drive into the city. It was a set up from the start and only they knew about it.

The Greenough Family Massacre refers to the axe murders of Karen MacKenzie, 31, and her three children, Daniel 16, Amara, 7, & Katrina, 5, at their remote rural property in Greenough, Western Australia, 400 km north of Perth, on 21 February 1993,by William Patrick Mitchell, (Bill Mitchell).
According to Crime Investigation Australia, a judge ruled that the exact way in which Daniel, Amara and Katrina were killed to be sealed... In fact the crime has been called "One of the worst crimes in Western Australia" and details of the murders were withheld from the public as they were deemed too gruesome and horrific. The case was so heinous that "cries for the return of the death penalty could be heard echoing around the State". Mitchell pleaded guilty to four counts of willful murder, and four of sexual assault. A hand lotion used by the killer was a key piece of evidence used to catch the killer. Mitchell was convicted of the murders in 1995 at the age of 24 and sentenced to four consecutive terms of life imprisonment, with a non-parole period of 20 years. Due to the public outcry at the sentence, a Crown appeal ordered his non-parole period revoked. Despite a series of Supreme and High Court appeals (including a ruling that Mitchell never be released) another appeal overturned that decision and reinstated his 20-year non-parole period. If a current review of his non-parole period is unsuccessful, he will be eligible for parole in 2013. Quote:

A series of disasters starting with a major cyclone in 1872 and major flooding in 1888 as well as the discovery of gold in the goldfields caused the gradual decline and abandonment of the settlement so that by 1900 most of the settlers had left the area with many of the small farmlets converted to grazing. The town fell into disrepair until a tourism-based project in the 1980s helped refurbish many of the buildings...Greenough died at Naples on 2 April 1855.The area was first explored by George Grey in 1839 after which he named the area after Sir George Bellas Greenough, He is buried in Kensal Green Cemetery, North London...
The Geographical Society of London was founded in 1830 under the name Geographical Society of London as an institution to promote the 'advancement of geographical science'. It later absorbed the older African Association, which had been founded by Sir Joseph Banks in 1788, as well as the Raleigh Club and the Palestine Association. Like many learned societies, it had started as a dining club in London, where select members held informal dinner debates on current scientific issues and ideas... http://www.davidicke.com/forum/showp...&postcount=498 Last edited by lightgiver; 03-08-2012 at 02:30 AM. |

The Sydney Hilton bombing occurred on 13 February 1978, when a bomb exploded outside the Hilton Hotel in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. At the time the hotel was the site of the first Commonwealth Heads of Government Regional Meeting (CHOGRM), a regional off-shoot of the biennial meetings of the heads of government from across the Commonwealth of Nations. Two garbage men and one police officer were killed, with several others injured...
Quote:
Sgt Horton stated that he saw an occurrence pad entry that showed the warning call was received at 12:32, 8 minutes before the bomb exploded. It was not relayed instantly to the police out front. At the inquest four other versions of this pad were shown, each timing the call at 12:40. (It may not have been relayed because police already knew about the bomb and the call was merely a pretext to call the waiting bomb squad.) Before the inquiries it was described in Parliament as the first and only domestic terrorist event in Australia...Prior to the bombing the security forces had been under considerable pressure. In South Australia, the White inquiry into their police special branch was very critical, and ties with ASIO were cut. New South Wales was about to have a similar inquiry. After the bombing, the NSW inquiry was never held, and the Commonwealth increased support for the anti-terrorism activities of the intelligence services... http://www.davidicke.com/forum/showp...&postcount=446 http://members.tripod.com/~Hilton_Bombing/inquest.html |

The 2002 Bali bombings occurred on 12 October 2002 in the tourist district of Kuta on the Indonesian island of Bali. The attack was claimed as the deadliest act of terrorism in the history of Indonesia according to the current police general, killing 202 people, (including 88 Australians, and 38 Indonesian citizens). A further 240 people were injured...At 23:05 Central Indonesian Time (15:05 UTC) on 12 October 2002, a suicide bomber inside the nightclub Paddy's Pub detonated a bomb in his backpack, causing many patrons, with or without injuries, to immediately flee into the street. Twenty seconds later, a second and much more powerful car bomb hidden inside a white Mitsubishi van was detonated by another suicide bomber outside the Sari Club, located opposite Paddy's Pub...
Various members of Jemaah Islamiyah, a violent Islamist group, were convicted in relation to the bombings, including three individuals who were sentenced to death. The attack involved the detonation of three bombs: a backpack-mounted device carried by a suicide bomber; a large car bomb, both of which were detonated in or near popular nightclubs in Kuta; and a third much smaller device detonated outside the United States consulate in Denpasar, causing only minor damage. An audio-cassette purportedly carrying a recorded voice message from Osama Bin Laden stated that the Bali bombings were in direct retaliation for support of the United States' war on terror and Australia's role in the liberation of East Timor... On 9 March 2010, Dulmatin, nicknamed "the Genius" – believed to be responsible for setting off one of the Bali bombs with a mobile phone – was killed in a shoot-out with Indonesian police in Jakarta... The local Sanglah hospital was ill-equipped to deal with the scale of the disaster and was overwhelmed with the number of injured, particularly burn victims...There were so many people injured by the explosion that some of the injured had to be placed in hotel pools near the explosion site to ease the pain of their burns. Many of the injured were forced to be flown extreme distances to Darwin (1100 miles/1800 km) and Perth (1600 miles/2600 km) for specialist burn treatment... The final death toll was 202, mainly comprising Western tourists and holiday-makers in their 20s and 30s who were in or near Paddy's Pub or the Sari Club, but also including many Balinese Indonesians working or living nearby, or simply passing by. Hundreds more people suffered horrific burns and other injuries. The largest group among those killed were holidayers from Australia with 88 fatalities. On 14 October, the United Nations Security Council passed Resolution 1438 condemning the attack as a threat to international peace and security... The Mitsubishi L300 van bomb was initially thought to have consisted of C4, a military grade plastic explosive which is difficult to obtain...Mitsubishi L300 is a commercial van made by Mitsubishi Motors since 1968...Just past midnight on 9 November (9/11) 2008, the three convicted of carrying out the bombings (Imam Samudra, Amrozi Nurhasyim, and Ali Ghufron) were executed by a firing squad...Umar Patek was arrested in Abbottabad Pakistan in early 2011. The U.S. government had offered a US$1 million reward for his arrest for Patek who is suspected in other bombings as well as the one in Bali...On 23 July 2004, one of the convicted bombers, Maskur Abdul Kadir, successfully appealed his conviction. He had been tried under retroactive laws which were introduced after the bombing and which were employed to aid the prosecution of those involved in the attack... In Lincoln Square (park) on the western side of Swanston Street, Melbourne, Australia, just north of the city blocks, is a memorial representing the 88 Australians who died in the bombings, and notably the 22 from Victoria... There are 88 jets in the fountain; at night there are lights representing all those who died... The fountain shuts off and becomes a reflecting pool on 12 October each year... This was one of the very few fountains allowed to operate during the drought in 2007...The memorial to seven residents of Sutherland Shire who were victims is at Cronulla. Called The Seed, the work is based on the seed and foliage of the Banksia robur, a native plant indigenous to the Shire... Quote:

Manifest Destiny was the 19th and 18th century American belief that the United States was destined to expand across the continent. The concept was born out of "a sense of mission to redeem the Old World" and enabled by "the potentialities of a new earth for bulding a new heaven." . The phrase itself eventually came to mean many different things to many different people. The unity of their definitions ended at "expansion, prearranged by Heaven." Mid-19th Century Democrats would use it to explain the need for the expansion past the Louisiana Territory. Men, emboldened by the fervor, would become known as 'filibusters' and wage private wars against nations that the United States was at peace with. Whigs, and eventually Republicans, sought to reinterpret it and in the process end continental expansion altogether...
Quote:
...I think we all realize that the day has come when Democracy is being put upon its final test. The Old World is just now suffering from a wanton rejection of the principle of democracy and a substitution of the principle of autocracy as asserted in the name, but without the authority and sanction, of the multitude. This is the time of all others when Democracy should prove its purity and its spiritual power to prevail. It is surely the manifest destiny of the United States to lead in the attempt to make this spirit prevail. This was the only time a president had used the phrase "Manifest Destiny" in his annual address. Wilson's version of Manifest Destiny was a rejection of expansionism and an endorsement (in principle) of self-determination, emphasizing that the United States had a mission to be a world leader for the cause of democracy. This U.S. vision of itself as the leader of the "Free World" would grow stronger in the 20th century after World War II, although rarely would it be described as "Manifest Destiny", as Wilson had done. http://www.davidicke.com/forum/showt...t=75959&page=2 Last edited by lightgiver; 03-08-2012 at 09:48 PM. |

In the immediate aftermath of World War II, Ben Chifley, Prime Minister of Australia from 1945 to 1949, established the Federal Department of Immigration and thereby launched a large scale immigration program. Chifley commissioned a report on the subject which found that Australia was in urgent need of a larger population for the purposes of defence and development and it recommended a 1% annual increase in population through increased immigration...
The first Minister for Immigration, Arthur Calwell, commenced promoting mass immigration with the slogan "populate or perish"...182,159 people were sponsored by the International Refugee Organisation (IRO) from the end of World War II up to the end of 1954 to resettle in Australia from Europe—more than the number of convicts transported to Australia in the first 80 years after European settlement... ![]() Quote:

The Beehive scenario is a world in which the state is the primary funder and controller... Its overriding aim is the production of a skilled workforce, and to this end it has created a largely homogenous system for the masses while allowing the elite to attend the few traditional universities... ![]() The word census is of Latin origin; during the Roman Republic, the census was a list that kept track of all adult males fit for military service. The modern census is essential to international comparisons of any kind of statistics and censuses collect data on many attributes of the population, not just how many people they are, although population estimates remain an important function of the census taker... ![]() Quote:

The story of the first fleet, under the command of Captain Arthur Phillip...
It begins in England with the British government desperate to alleviate their overcrowded prisons by establishing a new colony at Botany Bay. With the hardships faced by the fleet, it was one of the greatest maritime expeditions ever...Arthur Phillip was born in 1738, the son of Jacob Phillip, a Frankfurt-born language teacher, and his English wife, Elizabeth Breach...Phillip was educated at the Greenwich Hospital School, part of Greenwich Hospital, and at the age of 13 was apprenticed to the merchant navy... Filmed on location in Portsmouth and at the fleet's ports of call. Written and presented by historian Dr Jonathan King in 1988... http://www.davidicke.com/forum/showp...83&postcount=5 http://www.davidicke.com/forum/showp...&postcount=333 |

Picture this, you are in a bus, heading out of control towards a cliff, everybody knows they could die, but everyone is too busy fighting over who is going to drive or trying to save themselves.... Sound familiar. People are not asleep, they are too busy trying to stay afloat or following their greed and desire for power, simple as that. The system is designed to keep the proletariat right where most people are right now, simply too distracted to do anything about it even if they are awake, as you put it.

I saw this thread, and thought I'd share the two most obvious examples that spring to mind.
Quote:
Bryant fitted the bill for a MK'd white male loner nutter "patsy"assassin to the tee. The Port Arthur Massacre Quote:
The Arms Buy Back Newly elected Prime Minister, John Howard, "stood up to the plate on this issue and launched an unprecedented "ärms buyback". Australia, like all of the West other than the USA, is not a gun owning nation. There is really no need for people to own one. Thise who do are in rifle clubs, criminals or country folk who own them for pest reduction etc. The arms buyback was widely supported by the public. The Government was going to "make Australia safer". The media frenzy of the attacks faciliated great public support. There was little questioning of why a guy with learning difficulties had access to a semi-automatic weapon - he used a military assault weapon of sorts. The public can't get access to them readily, if at all. Further, eye witnesses stated there appeared to be more than one gunman. Evidence found the killer had to be an expert marksman to have shot those he did from the angles and distances he did. David Icke has stated that PM Howard, around the time of this incident, made his first overseas trip as PM, and obtaineds his 33rd Scottish Rites on that trip. I don't know what evidence that statement was made. Quote:

The other example is the Carbon Tax introduced on 1 July 2012. The unholy alliance formed between the Gillard led Labour Govt and the Green Party led to the intriduction of this deeply unpopular tax.
Quote:
Opposition Leader, Tony Abbott has vowed to remove the tax if elected as PM next year. Last edited by lets blow; 27-08-2012 at 07:57 AM. Reason: formatting |
