Yeah great link! I wish these glorious little moments of humanity got reported on the news.

Great thread - deserves to be bumped.

Keep encouraging each other, most people are worthy of love and help. Its amazing how a few psycopaths keep making us fight wars and tear each other apart.

We will triumph.

ALL people are worthy of love and help! If we don't love the psychopaths then how will we heal them and free them of their suffering? No matter how psychotic a psychopath is, we only go to war because we co-operate with them.

An Authentic Horse Whisperer
Awesome! It must take so much time to develop the trust between him and the horse to subdue it so much. Thanks!

So, anyone else willing to commit themselves to supporting and encouraging their fellow forum members? Does anyone actually disagree? Maybe some people think we should be hard on each other and put each other down for whatever reason...?

Count me in.

We need each other; if we can't treat each other with respect here, then how are we going to survive out there?

If we can learn to empower each other rather than pull each other down then we can become a breeding ground for powerful, confident, unique individuals, each with a vital role to perform, marching into the world and making a real difference.

We must begin to look beyond differences and start to recognise that we are all here united in a very common cause. We all have different storylines, but that is something to celebrate and enthuse over, not something to disparage and isolate over.

We might disagree over certain issues - maybe even strongly disagree, but that is okay! It is our individual passions being shared and expressed that is most important, and if someone can come here and be empowered to go into the world and contribute their piece of the puzzle, then surely that is much, much more important than challenging and debunking each others beliefs and thoughts.

This is a massive forum with so many members, and if we could learn to unite and share and support then so much good could be done. If someone has a thought or an idea then encourage them to pursue it. Allow that person the precious gift of believing in themselves knowing that they have an army of support behind them. And if you disagree or think you can offer come constructive criticism then BE GENTLE! They may be completely wrong about something, but that is okay! That person could end up a huge figure in the evolution of our planet. When we mock or ridicule someone's view or position then we may be mocking the next Martin Luther King, the next Gandhi, the next David Icke... so we must tread carefully, for we do not know who we are talking to!

A complete transformation of this forum would take time, but this is for those who are willing to make a committment NOW to be an example of an evolving human being contributing to evolving discussions contributing to an evolving planet. For those committed to our evolution and the reign of LOVE on this planet, not fear, then here is your chance to put your name forwards and declare that you are here to HELP your fellow human beings, not hinder.

I am here only to uplift, support, encourage, help, love and respect all of you here, and in doing so I hope that it gives you the belief and the courage to follow your heart and your passion and make a difference to the world as your heart sees fit.

If you are with me then I want your committment here for everyone to see, and then I want you to be an example in these forums and guide the way for others to follow. There is no more time for messing around with childish ways. We need to grow up and realise that only through love for each other are we ever going to create the world we all so desperately want to experience.

.........

Our Committment

We recognise that everyone is an individual.

We recognise that every individual has their own precious gift for humanity - a piece of the collective puzzle that when realised contributes to the evolution of the whole.

We recognise that, although our pieces differ, we are all connected and united in a desire for a better world, and we honour each others pieces regardless of how much they might differ from our own.

We recognise that for each individual to realise their potential and contribute fully their precious piece that they must be supported and encouraged with nothing but gentleness and compassion.

We recognise that those who attack us and strive to pull us down are those that are hurting the most, those who are most afraid and who are most vulnerable, and therefore, those that are most in need of our tolerance and patience, and we commit fully to providing them with nothing but our love.

We recognise that those who are attacking us because of their own pain, when loved, will heal and reveal themselves to be beautiful, loving human beings more than capable of sharing their love with others too.

We recognise that our committment to love one is a committment to love all, and as each beacon is illuminated through our love for them, so they will shine their light on others who need it, and as such our light will carry around the world forever.

.........

In Lak Ech, my friends.

Brilliant post - count me in

Irrespective of differences of opinions on topics like politics or faith... WE ARE ALL ONE..... and from my own faith perspective that was the original teaching & intention for ALL of mankind :-

John 17:22
“And I have given them the glory that you have given me, so that they shall be one, just as we are one, so that the world shall believe that you have sent me. “
http://bible.cc/john/17-22.htm

John 10:30
“I and my Father, We are One.”
http://aramaic-plain-english.scriptu...om/john/10.htm

You will better understand how this `WE ARE ALL ONE` was intended to be, if you care to take a read via the above link at John 10 in verses 31 - 39.

In fact, you may even see the resemblance to the persecution David Icke received all those years ago on the Terry Wogan show

I understand what you mean, and I suppose it can be viewed that way, but that isn't how it feels for me. I personally give all credit to God - my mind and limited intellect could never write was written... believe me, i've tried, and there are enough of my postings on this forum that testify to that. However, when I feel inspired then it's another voice speaking that I am only a conduit for.

As such, it is not self promotion nor a desire for personal recognition that motivates me to constantly bump this thread, but my own somewhat detached appreciation of the message that is shared, and I value it as much as others here have, because I think it is a beautiful and important message, and especially relevant to this forum, which is why I feel I was inspired with the words to write.

But look, I get your perspective completely, and I don't see it as negative at all, in fact, I was a little disappointed at how easily approved this thread was because I like opposition voices because it forces a deeper examination. So thanks for posting and going against the grain. I'll continue to bump this thread for as long as I feel it is a relevant message - not because of my ego, but because I think it would be much more egotistical (i.e. fear based) to not want it bumped out of fear of claims of being vain and self promoting. The very fact that I can bump this thread without shame is because I have no ego attachment to it.

I am ever saddened by seeing the word 'banned' whatever the circumstances. Perhaps I am naive, but I prefer debate to hate. A well-reasoned argument will eventually prevail over lies*. In fact, exposing liars online is a great way to sharpen readers powers of discretion (I think).

Eliminating trolls and shills depends ultimately on value judgements by moderators. Logically, therefore, as the usual suspects are magnetically attracted to power, they will also attempt (and sometimes succeed) in infiltrating the editors.

As I have argued before, if somehow moderation could be a totally and truly democratic process, this would be a great step forward, since it would mean the forum truly reflected its members, a model for how we should govern our world. Think of the value of this experiment....

*provided the public understand the issues. There is an education factor in play here also.

edit

I should say that the Mods here generally do an excellent job, and have managed to repel unwelcome boarders in the past.

I think 'unwelcome' is just a matter of perspective. I LOVE those that others call 'trolls' and 'shills' because those are the individuals that challenge my capacity to love, and within that challenge they provide me with the wonderful opportunity to grow and expand my love. And as my happiness is dependent upon the extent of my love, I cannot see any supposed troublemaker as anything but a blessing. My only sadness is that my threads and posts tend not to attract that type... I mean, read through this thread - zero trolls, zero shills. It's a shame, I would have loved to have loved them.
