Being shown violent/disturbing videos (in dreams)

Two dreams I've had over the past couple years have been haunting me a little. Both involved walking into an empty room with a small tv playing a video.

In the first dream (two years ago) -- I was in my house at night, in the living room. No one home. There was a white owl watching me through the window, which creeped me out quite a bit. I then walked into one of the bedrooms, and there was an old TV playing a video of a weird sort of orgy on a couch involving various family members. There was just something deeply unsettling about it (aside from the obvious reasons). That's all I remember.

In the second dream (maybe a year and a half ago) -- I'm in an empty hotel lobby or convention center. Again, a small TV. A video starts playing-- in it, a teenage girl with brown hair sitting in a chair, (I somehow know that she's Irish) being bludgeoned in the face repeatedly with a stick-like object. The man hitting her is turned away from the camera, looks young, dark hair, tan-colored sweater. Keeps hitting her until she's purple and unrecognizable. It seemed to go on forever. Of course I was deeply upset by this and wanted to find/help the girl but I only find a note from her saying that she will be dead soon, that she's being forced to take two pills-- one to paralyze her, and then one that will kill her. I look and look but it's too late. She dies, it's in the newspaper but no one is really acknowledging it.

That's all. Anyone else ever dream anything similar..?

wow thats intense. Ive had intensly scary dreams yes
