I think The barton hills are in part a representation of a goddess type fertility symbol.

The ritual landscape of the barton hills,i'll let you decide which lady bits are which.
Wow. Not to be missed curly!

The eye area is marked in yellow,

This is the view down the eye,a very pleasant stroll with a bit of a primeval feel to it.

I did a bit of dowsing there and even though i admit i'm rubbish,i did manage to decipher the fact that the earth energy there flows into it like a funnel. It comes from both directions either side of the eye and meets right in the middle at the tip and then flows down it.Very tight as though it's all trying to cram in the top of the eye and then easing off as you move down the edges.
This one puts me in mind of a Roman soldier with the helmet on.

Yeah skys i think that image goes back a long way,i don't believe much of our history as taught.Like you said our goose is'nt cooked just yet,but if we carry on wrecking the landscape, well we've only got ourselves to blame for the consequences. You reckon he wants a chat eh,fulham wood, the eye of the voicebox might be the place for a bit of inspiration or visionary experiences.Maybe it'll sound something a bit like this,a hymn from a village.

No,a very fertile looking lady, whether viewed from above or below.I can't claim to be the first to have set eyes upon her recently though,as werewolf and martin the barton warlock beat me to it.Can you believe it,the first person i get in touch with about the place and they already figured it out,ww says the breasts looked like thighs viewed one way.Which finished off the scene for me as i had'nt noticed that.So much for charlie big potatoes, landscape investigator,Esq.
I'll get her up as quick as i can,the raven is very very close by.

Interesting, who do you think, caeser maybe. For want of a better expression i'll take a look at his helmet next time i get google earth up,i'd best wait till it's dark though.I had'nt thought he might have a hat on,you know what they say,if you can't fight wear a big hat,romans-tossers.

Barton hills, even though i was born in luton some 5 miles away i'd never actually visited them till a few weeks ago, having moved out of the area as a 2/3 year old.We drove past them countless times up the a6 on the way to visit relatives, but i still can't remember them.Northamptonshire is where i call home and think of as where i come from,so it was refreshing to visit the hills and think to myself,no i'm from around here and so are my ancestors,at least on my mothers side.My great great great great etc grandfather was a highwayman from markyate, and he used all his loot to buy the pubs in the village, way to go grandad. So it was good to be there and let my mind wander,it felt like i was addressing a part of my past i'd neglected.I doubt i'll get to know the place as well as martin the barton warlock, and get a glimpse of some of the visions he used to experience.I closed my eyes and tried but bugger all happened,i've only just introduced myself though so you can't expect too much after a couple of dates i suppose.Falling asleep there may help, and a bit more barefoot wandering i think.
Theres not much more to add to the next image other than the hills represent mother earth maybe.I mentioned them as sheila na giggish before.
http://www.sheelanagig.org/index.htm...orthampton.htm
The belt like field around her fertile region reminded me of a chastity belt, maybe stopping her doing what she does best.Or diverting something somewhere, who knows.I hav'nt marked these up,please let me know if you want something highlighting.

A view of the hills, there's a high wooded ridge on the right running all the way along the hills as you walk,a nearby spring feeds stream running along the base, accompanying you as you walk to the hills. The photo's don't really do justice to the curves of the hills or the feeling of the place. It's not eerie, but odd walking about there. You get a real sense of place and it's like walking back a couple of thousand years in time. There was a very impressive atmosphere about the place i thought.Theres dartmoor ponies running around wild up there as well.

I've got a lot more to post but it's bedtime for me.The raven is in barton hills btw.

Here's what i think is the raven of ravensburgh castle.I was thinking that's a big birds head before i even found out about ravensburgh castle,or the ravens in hexton. So i'm quite confident there's a connection. You can see it marked and coming out of the barton hills. The place where the castle is marked on the ordanance survey map is exactly where i marked it in the image. The shadow plays a big part in this image, theres also others that i've noticed around funny shaped hills.Somewhere along the line and for a reason i'm not sure of,shadows are very important in the make up of the hills,They do say cast no shadow,or was that just oasis,i'm not sure.

I see what you mean now yass, the field that runs down behind his eye and touches the nose carving,it does look like part of a helmet.

Next up is another head shape made by the woods around ravensburgh castle, and gazing towards hexton. It's eye is marked in yellow.

This is the view of the edge of the eye,it's seems to be another pit,but shallower this time, the corner nearest the woods has the highest sides.

It's oval shape is seen more clearly here.

The raised banks mark the edge of the eye.

Just a few other snaps of the area, the first one is the wall around hexton manor, got to be at least 20 feet high.

Little fairy mounds,i wonder if they all grow up to make big hills.

The old sun pub in harlington, just a mile or two away from the sundon hills.

Here's some bits and bobs from la serpent in southern france, very close to rennes le chateau. The first image shows a figure with an outstretched arm and hand,it's face appears to have a some sort of elaborate headwear on.

This one looks female, and is facing left, the face and hand are marked. The track that comes off the top of the hand then splits into three and they combine to make the outline of a birds head, and maybe a serpent on the back of the birds head.

A closer view of the face

The eye

This is quite abstract, and hard to spot, but i think it shows a serpent type head, facing right with the blue dot marking the field that makes it's eye. It's touching the nose on an abstract face of a man.

A nearby and similar face to the last one

Henry lincoln and his documentary about rennes le chateau, not a subject i know much about.I like henry,he creases me up in this and is a good speaker,i imagined him continually appearing in a puff of smoke with a cape on watching this.

I'd like to introduce you to another one of the strange characters i've encountered on my travels. He goes by the name of crooked soley or straight soley,he's scratching his chin i think or pondering his next move.

The wiltshire, berkshire border runs along his head, with woodland st mary and lambourn wood{Lamb born} behind him. There was a spectacular crop circle nr crooked soley some years ago.

Bedfordshire now, starting with some old images from around woburn,a few miles north of the barton hills.I've marked the profile of a human face on the left, with a gremlin looking down on himfrom behind.A bit mad i know but i might as well say it as i see it,i hope i don't sound like a twat but i have come to the conclusion lately that i am a seer of sorts.I just see stuff everywhere in the landscape,if people can read palms and tea-leaves why not.

Aspley guise is in the top left corner, and where his head flows,an interesting name if you break it down i suppose. An asp is a north african and european viper,we only have the adder viper though in the uk.The word ley is described in the dictionary as land temporarily under grass, and guise is described asyour outward appearence, especially designed to conceal the truth, cruel insults in the guise of advice. So we have a snake in the grass concealing his true identity, the snake maybe being the earths energy.

The area has changed now,the feature making it's eye has gone.

Very close by is potsgrove, this image made me think of a horse with a mans head with a crown on,almost like it's been drawn by a child.

It's facing left if you hav'nt spotted it yet.

A look at some of the detail inside this glyph, firstly a face looking left, with the wood once again making the eye.

He/she has this feature coming out of the mouth.

This then in turn makes the eye of another face.

Imagine the wood coming out of his mouth.

A wierd looking chap overlooking the scene.
