Not apathy but a realization that things are very very fucked up in Bartertown. I may not vote this year after voting over 40 years in every single election. Things are beyond hope, and I say this with the gravest reservations. As a young narrowback lad growing up in NY, I never dreamt I would see this day. People in countries like Greece and Syria are casting their votes from the rooftops with ak-47's and molotovs. God forbid, but it could happen anywhere, The people in all countries either know, or realize that the elections are a one party system and feel helpless.

A petition is an absurd instrument at this point. Apologies but I see that as the truth. I am not being negative, just looking at it as a sad truth. A part of me wishes to God that a petition would work, but we are very long past that. They do not need tp be defeated at the polls but arrested and brought before judges for war crimes and crimes against humanity. A piece of paper with signaturesto stop them and give them pause to ponder? Pleez

At least they will know your name and address They can come at 4 am to take you downtown for a political 'discussion' before you disappear. They don't even have to notify you family of your whareabouts under all the executive orders that are on the books. Extrajudicial killing is the law of the land now. Even George Orwell would be shocked : "You've come a long way Baby!"

It's gone up another 20,000 or so since then. This is the first time I've seen the petition and 450,000 isn't bad so far. Keep refreshing your browser on the petition page and you'll find the sigs flying up by the second. Actually you don't need to, it does it automatically.
