i slept with a few crystals under my pillow, and it made the pillow case and bedsheets blue...why is this?

has it happened to anyone else too?

nope, although i have experienced the effects of crystals in some other ways.

Take them back to whatever 'guru/mystic healer/del boy' that sold you them and say, "these bits of rock you sold me got blue dye over my pillows... I want a refund".

When i wore the crystals around my neck, i could feel a relief from negative energy.
However, if i wore it too long, say for more than two days straight, then the crystals begin to have a negative effect on you.

Once the crystals have absorbed negativity you need to wash them and purify them with good vibes through your thoughts or a purification ritual.

It's likely that your crystals were dyed to enhance their color, and that the dye rubbed off - easy way to check, wash them in a bowl of warm water and see if the water turns blue.

If it does, remember that you aren't damaging the crystal, but are removing the man-made coloration, and allowing the crystal to work with it's own energy, unhindered

RE cleansing them: Some good tips above, i like using incense or natural stream water, candles etc. If you place crystals on a table / surface, on a bed of rose petals (for instance, but not necessary) and then light six tea-light candles placed in a circle around the crystals, it makes a nice effect and is a beautiful way to cleanse them

Crystals absorb as well as radiate energy - think of a hoover bag, once it is full of dust it needs emptying in order to perform to its best again. When a crystal has absorbed negative / heavy energy from being worn or used in meditation or healing, then it will need to be cleansed before being used again

in that case surely you should just do the purification on yourself without the need for crystals? after all arent their some strongly magnetic crystal like parts of the brain

Yes, I believe so. Different people respond well to different methods and ways of achieving harmony. if you don't feel the need for that kind of catalyst then that's even better. Perhaps some people rely too heavily on things like crystals as a crutch? IDK but I do know that I feel a close affinity with crystals and they seem to amplify the results I want to achieve.

Well, i have no idea then - but if you soak them in some warm water, or wash them, you will see if they have any dye in them.

i visited a number of places in India, where they cut and polish crystals for manufacture, and i have seen that so many crystals, predominantly agates and turquoises etc, are colored and dyed to enhance their appeal.
