A book that I read in the 80s was an eye opener as well, "The Day The Laughter Stopped" about Fatty Arbuckle and the 'rape' of a young starlet back in the 20s or so. Dave talks about it in Celluloid Hero's.

And as I re-read it now, it's NOT mostly about 'old Hollywood' but he throws a lot of old Hollywood deaths in there. Just makes you freakin' wonder what goes on there, REALLY.

I was at one of the concerts during that tour when they came to eastern Canada! *Memories* That caused a big scandal in the province here. I was at the front and when the show ended I walked to the back and then he came out for an encore wearing his sunday best and here I was at the back, missing the whole thing.

I never noticed the xxxs and cross at the time.

"Charlie Sheen's former assistant found dead as 'police discover pharmacy of drugs at the scene'

Charlie Sheen's former assistant has been found dead in his Los Angeles home.

Rick Calamaro's body was discovered by police on Sunday although reports suggest he had been dead for several days.

According to TMZ.com, authorities are said to have found 'a pharmacy full of drugs', including 'numerous pain medications and an open bottle of alcohol' at the scene.

Sheen's ex-assistant, a nightclub promoter, was said to have been in and out of the actor's life for years.

The website reports he was with Sheen when he trashed his room at The Plaza Hotel in September 2010 during a heated row with escort Capri Anderson.

He is said to have remained a member of the actor's entourage until his firing from Two and a Half Men last year after Sheen's very public spat with creator Chuck Lorre and the actor's subsequent meltdown.

Calamaro's cause of death has not yet been determined.

Sheen's representative has not yet responded to requests for comment."

I didn't even get half way through watching this and I turned it off. Highly disturbing

The 'booty pop' video is sick as well. People might think it's funny but what kind of women take a job of dancing like that for a 6 year old boy?! What kind of parents, record label, camera operators do this?! This is so so wrong

"Christian Louboutin unveils Cinderella-inspired slipper

(CBS News) Christian Louboutin has put his signature red-sole spin on a very famous pair of (fictional) footwear.

The shoe designer teamed up with Disney to create a modern-day version of Cinderella's glass slippers, which were unveiled in Paris on Wednesday. (See another photo below.)

Disney invited Louboutin to re-imagine the famous slipper in honor of the release of "Cinderella" on Blu-Ray this fall.

"Cinderella is not only an iconic character when it comes to beauty, grace and fairytale love, but also shoes," the designer said in a statement. "Her character and her story dictated the design to me, it was all there in the pages and the words of this tale."

There's no glass in this modern-day version of the shoe - Louboutin's design is made of white lace adorned with crystals and sparkling butterflies.

Just 20 pairs of the Cinderella shoes will be produced, Disney announced Wednesday. According to USA Today, the pairs will be given away worldwide this fall, and Disney and Louboutin will release details on the giveaway next month."
