Default The Conspiracy Community - Slaves made to Order

I think it is possible that the majority of conspiracy theorists make the most effective slaves for a global elite, determined to mentally enslave the human race. The reason I see things this way, is that many conspiracy theorists form beliefs regarding certain conspiracies, without valid evidence, and due to the mechanics of belief itself, these 'believers,' many of whom are already infected with religious belief, are easily manipulated. Beliefs reside within that aspect of consciousness called the ego, that place where we store all of our conscious perceptions and beliefs about the world. Once we have adopted a belief, whatever it may be, it takes over the mind, clouding rational and constructive thought, preventing an honest inquiry into matters vital to our cognitive liberation. In many ways, conspiracy theory has become an almost alternative religion, and we must ask; why? Why has a once important topic been so sensationalized and transformed into conspiratainment. It has become a form of escapist enter-tame-ment, with its proponents forming cults around given conspiracy theories.

If we ever want to be truly free, we must learn how to think, beyond belief!

Well, that is just my opinion! I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.

If you haven't figured it out already, it's how they are going to usher in the New World Order.

By that I mean the New Age, most people don't understand what the true nature of the NWO is.

It is to bring in a one world religion, a New Age religion of "enlightened". The same sort of "enlightenment" we see in the truth movement.

Looking at the statistics and the way the Christian religion is growing, I would suggest that the NWR (New World Religion) is going to be, or is, Christianity. It has always been cut from the cloth of colonization and cognitive homogeny.

If you like, you can check out my article on the Joshua Project at my blog.

I suppose it's how you see it. I see it like this.

i think most people becomes CT's when the evidence does not fit in with the official story, namely a group of engineers trying to defend their profession after the embarrassing and ludicrous official report around the destruction of the twin towers and building 7. Then there's is the question of the biggest conspiracy known to man/women. Mainstream religion...granted, everyone is now free to believe, but when those in control have spent centuries using brutal force to ram this illusion down peoples' throats for generation after generation at an Incalculable cost to 'worthless' lives, then some tend to view those in power with a little less trust than most...call them sensitive to abuse.

If anyone is to blame for the rise in CT culture then it's those in power...but they won't see it that way...no sociopath sees itself as the problem.

I couldn't agree more with what you have said here. I certainly think a distinction needs to made bewteen those who investigate anomalous information and dis-information, like the example you gave, and between those who "join in" the culture, as you put it! From what I have seen on this forum alone, so far, it seems that the culture is slowly encroaching upon the useful applications of conspiracy research.

I think that's the price of growth. A movement is worth nothing unless people join in. Speaking for myself, I see truth in most of what people say. 'Reading between the lines' you see where they're coming from and what motivates people. Most times people voice opinions out of fear, worry, especially on internet forums...I know it's fear that shapes my opinions, maybe too much. There are a lot of really valuable contributions made here for me - and people here that make me think about (and change) my ideas. Hearing the public speak and being able to interact is fascinating and addictive especially with people with 'controversial' views. I guess it's because I come from country thats history has taught it's people to mistrust those in power and for good reason.

My view of it

i agree that for some people perhaps conspiracy theories are some form of entertainment, but the only reason it's become bigger than it ever was is thanks to the internet.

in the uk there has been a erosion of socializing, that is to say for many people the internet has become the new pub, and old pub culture has been eradicated thanks to the ban on smoking, binge drinkers and the fear of violence if people go out late at night. i know that isn't the case for the world as a whole, but i am based in the uk and that's all i can comment about.

if a total all out world war was to occur, the elite are going to have an awful lot of computers to remove from the face of the earth- computers with hard-drives packed full of information, not to mention information burned to disc. a proportion of those hard-drives and discs will have conspiracy theory information on them. that is to say the crimes of the elite against the masses of this age will be there to be found by future generations once the dust of all out war has settled and those that survive have died of old age.

i have considered burying discs burned full of conspiracy theory information and laptops in fields, in the hope archaeologists of the future might dig them up.

but to get back on your topic personally i think of myself as a free thinker (not a three thinker) and regard imagination as a form of magic. i see my purpose as being to try and inform people via the medium of entertainment- truth can be a bitter pill to swallow but if its done with amusement it can be easier for people to comprehend.

The MSM and its puppets dont like individuals thinking for themselves so it has been given a "bad rap" for so long now. Also it has been hijacked by all sorts of assoles so "conspiracy theorist", a term I believe was invented by the MSM should be dumped. Any term with "alternative" should also be dumped and "researcher" should be used instead. "So you are a conspiracy theorist" ..."er no...are you a coincidence theorist??"should be a good counter.

...and so we can also go with the coincidence theorist if pressured....say that you are researching to make sure it was a coincidence!!. Just understand its about putting people in boxes and putting labels on us. Dont allow it!

Belief systems are part of us all. A conspiracy theorist would be no more, in fact I would say the opposite, a slave as a christian fundy or Islam fundy or an athiest. But as I said people get a bad rap as we can see with the BBC and Icke recently. "My masters from ZOG" or some shit that some dickhead said really sums up the programming that has been done and when you put in the hit piece on 911 done by the BBC (I think it was BBC) most sheep fall for it.

So most people snigger due to the real outlandish shit the MSM digs up from the loony fringe and its hard to shake off that tarring that the elite paint. You will always have brain dead groupies all over something they see as "new" or different but serious people will see through the crap..so you will have real dickheads jumping onto some conspiracy idea and taking it out of content and destroying it....happened to 911 and 7/7.

Its become infotainment because thats what the PTB want so it becomes ridiculed and smeared. and many fell for this ploy, so be it. People like that are not worthwhile talking to but more intelligent people see through this.

Luckily many are waking up.

Hope this makes sense.

I think you are right. When movements expand and grow, popularity and success carry with them, pitfalls. Good point.

If person A believed everything Tony Blair said and person B believed every single conspiracy theory that has been posted on the internet Person B would be right more than Person A by a margin of at least 10 to 1. So whilst a lot conspiracy theories maybe total crap or even put out by Governments to muddy the waters overall they at least get people to stop believing all the absolute shite spouted by the politicians and the MSM.

I think conspiracies can constrict minds if a person's main raison d'etre revolves around finding out what the next conspiracy is, and the next, and so on. Finding out the next episode of humanity being shafted. In practical terms this is giving up and admitting defeat; the focus has become looking for the problems. What room does this mindset leave for alleviating the problem? That's the danger of taking too much conspiracy info on board.

Yes, the "conspiracy theorist" get an upgrade to "denier" as soon as he found evidence for the conspiracy, so the evidence can be suppressed by law.

Just to pick up on this point.

Nothing wrong with believing, it just depends whether your belief in a particular thing is true or false. When you believe, you don't necessarily have direct experience of what you believe in. Into this category fall some conspiracy theories, some ideas about religion, or politics - on to ideas about who we are.

I'll also 'tweak' your statement: We must learn how to know, beyond believing/thinking. Thoughts are just stand-ins for reality, not the reality itself. They have their place, obviously.

Not to nitpick, but there is absolutely EVERYTHING wrong with "belief". The word itself is neural linguistic programming that turns off rational thinking and ignores obvious facts. It leads to cognitive dissonance and stress because the mind is dealing with dualities that contradict each other. Its the main reason why some lash out physically when you confront their "beliefs", the mind is protecting itself from further stress. Holding a belief is the worst thing a conscious being could ever do to itself.

The word 'belief' carries a lot of negative baggage because of one of its main associations, religion over the past 2,000 years or so. In its purest sense, a belief is simply a definition of something, a label. I might pick up a golden delicious and say it's an apple, whilst you might say it's another fruit entirely.

Your last sentence is in itself a belief. I know what you're saying, which is why I say knowing is above belief. When you know, there's no duality because it's based upon your direct experience of a thing, as opposed to a belief, which is as you say a duality between the person and the object/thing believed.

To believe is an inescapable part of the life process. When a child learns from a parent or from people in their environment, e.g., school, they are taught to believe information which at that stage they won't be able to verify the truth of. That's fine; same goes for many adults... you have to be a 'believer' before you become a 'knower', that's how it generally works.

Or even believe what you feel is the truth, pick and poke, be a fussy eater, don't swallow everything that is put in front of your face.

Perhaps those of us who do that will be in a better position than the masses. If we know where the strings are we know which ones to pull.

Then again, if we know how it is, and we can take advantage without toppling some world order, would we really want to?

Would a happy, ignorant slave population be better off being where it is rather than rising up, fighting, dying and facing an uncertain future?

Maybe we on here may end up on the right side of events, we may be able to be comfortably off. Got to think of these things.

When a child learns from a parent or from people in their environment, e.g., school, they are taught to believe information which at that stage they won't be able to verify the truth of. That's fine; same goes for many adults... you have to be a 'believer' before you become a 'knower', that's how it generally works.
You are using examples from this insane reality to make your points about belief, which is insane. Belief is a disease, period. You can spin it, you can sugar coat it, you can apply different definitions and meanings to it, its still a disease. If you use your intuition, you KNOW. Humans have been disconnected from this Knowing and are brainwashed in to thinking there are gray areas to truth. There is only one truth, which can never come from a belief.

I know i'm nit picking now, but this is something that humans need to understand fundamentally. I'm not saying I know this truth, but I also won't fall for the "belief" that human can never know the truth. That is 100% bullshit.
