Thinking of getting the Tetanus vaccine for our child, haven't found any good research. Is there any good facts based stuff out there, not the scaremongering type stuff.

Is there proof, any scientific proof, that this vaccine works? Unless you have some scientific evidence that it works, skip it. And by scientific evidence, that doesn't include the crappy psuedo-science Big Pharma peddles off as the real thing. Rather than using a vaccine, if your child gets sick, be sure to give LOTS of Vitamin C! Vitamin C at the dose of 1 gram won't harm your child, but it'll sure produce better results than a vaccine! Vitamin C has proper scientific research backing it, the vaccine doesn't. Don't ask a a Doctor's opinion, as they'll very likely push the vaccine which will do harm with no benefits. The Doctor will probably say the effect's of the vaccine are "normal", when in fact its not. The negative effects are a sign the vaccine is causing the child harm (likely serious). Still your choice, but ask yourself this: why is it that we have managed to survive (as a race) up until this day through millions of years without vaccines? Because they are not necessary. The Immune System, when backed-up by proper nutrition, can beat any sickness. Normally, an ox's body (when healthy) will produce around 13,000mg of Vitamin C a day. When sick, 100,000mg a day. The ox doesn't need vaccines. The body heals itself, without help from any external source except nutritious food.

Dont quote me on this but someone told me that their kid was offered a tetanus jab at the hospital after a deep cut and what the doctors gave her was the triple vaccine (rubella, whooping cough and tetanus) so if you are avoiding other vaccinations but thinking about taking this one please be aware this is a possibility.

I wouldn't bother getting it done if it were me but if they got a deep puncture wound i would probably take them to get a jab in the hospital. I have seen a horse die of tetanus but it is very, very rare

The older the child is then less damage will be caused as the brain is not growing at such a rapid rate and the immune system will be more mature

Symptoms include depression, headaches and spasms that interfere with breathing. Tetanus is caused by bacterial toxins that live in soil, dust and manure. They enter the body through cuts and puncture wounds. Careful attention to wound hygiene will eliminate the possibility of tetanus in most cases. Deep wounds should be thoroughly cleaned and not allowed to close until healing has occurred under the skin.

Now, some info about the shot, the tetanus vaccine has been linked to some severe and even fatal reactions, including neurological and paralytic disorders such as Guillian-Barre syndrome, arthritis and anaphylactic shock.

The booster vaccination causes T-lymphocyte blood counts to drop to levels found in victims of HIV.

Also it has been shown that children who have had a tetanus shot are significantly more likely to develop asthma or other allergy related respiratory symptoms than those who do not.

Now weigh up the options and work it out for yourself.

It's pretty dangerous... I got a fever from it, and back in the day the side-effects were worse. But i think its worth the risk of getting lockjaw and dying.

yes, this is the right thing to do.....but they're perhaps too lazy , just get the shot , get much sicker .....so much easier than a little first aid.

you saying BIG PHARMA has only a minor impact on our lives.....LOL.
I think you need to research origins of pharma, ( clue it's in the Protocols) the FDA, CDC, - a multi billion $ fraud , everyday. It's a scurge on humanity....

A tetanus jab will also be combined with diptheria and pertussis, so your child will be having the DTP, parts of which ( the 'P') are very volatile and can cause damage to your child.

It is a choice that parents have to face, but as a mother of a child massively damaged by the DTP back in the mid 90s when I was naive and believed that Doctors knew best. I could never condone the use of this vaccine in babies or children.
