JFK was revolutionary at the time because there was never a Catholic president and protestants might have had qualms about papal influences.

There is still a huge "bible belt" through the heartland of America, and other Christians might view the Mormons as a little bit 'out there'

Hard to take the measure of what that might mean.

I think Obama's style of dictatorship is less obvious and annoying. Romney will go right back to the Bush style shoot first ask questions later and go for the big shits. Obama likes to use the CIA to make it look like the Egyptians,Libyans or Syrians whoever are fucking themselves up. I don't approve of either but the Republican way gets people mad enough to stand up and punch somebody, but maybe that's what we need any way, to know our dictator and destroy him.

I think you are absolutely correct that Obama really has no idea what he is doing. But even though Romney might know a little bit more about what is going on, it wouldn't make any difference because both men are answerable to the same interests. And either man would be painted as a patsy if civilization survived long enough.
