Sounds a lot like the village where I live...sometimes I feel like I'm in that old TV series with Patrick McGoohan "The Prisoner"...very NWO!

Fortunately, I have met one ally who seems to be a willing participant in finding a solution

But is that allowed? We have to consider isotopes, fission and all that kind of thing. Black holes are probably bindings that have gone wrong. We don't want that.

Hi thecatsmeaow. Unfortunately the residents meeting fell apart after I was threatened with removal from the meeting after arguing with the nasty chair-woman. She should have been thrown out as she was rude to several people there but the plastic copper said he had a right to throw me out. I told him that I would leave anyway as I don't like empty threats. They haven't held a meeting there since that evening.

I heard the other day that a friend of Brian Gerrish is trying to get him to do a talk at the pub we had the meetings at.
I do hope that comes about.

So what could be YOUR part in this - if you're not capable of creatively contributing expert knowledge to this (it seems to be nearly perfect now anyway) ?
- Inform yourself in my mentioned subthread, and the mentioned links there
- Use it in the possible mentioned ways (you can even build your own online shop, e.g. based on OpenSource 'Magento Community' shop, using the Open Source Bitcoin Magento Plugin, etc.)
- Inform others about it

I was thinking about how to wake people up but if we're going to wake people up we have to offer a solution too. There's no point waking up half the country if we're not going to do anything about the problems. So I've come up with an idea which can wake people up, give them hope and if successful even bring about solutions.

The only way there's going to be change is through politics. My aim is to get people engaged in politics through online debates and voting in those debates which allows people to actually discuss things with others, have a say and a vote and to realize that the UK is a fake democracy and that our lives will never improve under the 2 main parties, but it could.

We will do what no other political party does. We will actually involve the people in policy making because they'll be the ones posting those policies and by allowing everyone to vote for and against on these things their vote will have an instant impact.

Sounds far fetched? If so, remind yourself of who won the Bradford West by-election. We can at least try can't we? I've already started work on the website, it has very basic functionality and almost non-existent visuals (so far.) I'm running out of ideas for improvements so this is the point now where I feel that getting feedback from other minds would be the next step.

All I'm asking is for you to register an account and try to use the websites functionality which is currently only the very basic debates section. Any suggestions can be posted in the forum I coded under the top menu item labelled discussion. Once you've done that you can watch me do magic and you can watch the website improve based on the suggestions you made.

I think the only offices we will be able to take are the local ones. That is a first step since states should decide their laws when you get down to it cities should have be one step closer to affect our daily lives. I dunno just my thoughts.
