Default continuing a dream after waking up?

I can recall a few occasions where I woke up from a dream. fell back asleep and continued the dream where i left off. has this happened to anyone else? i've been reading alot about how subtle things in life can be a sign of 4th density transition. would this classify as that?

Yes. I imagine it's just because I enjoyed the dream. I don't believe all dreams experienced are anything other than imagination. Or to put it another way, while some dreams are otherworldly experience in a different state of mind and plane, some are for enjoyment or self-analysis, and when I return to a dream I was enjoying before being woken up, it could be because I was entertained by the reverie and want to extend the experience.

yeah i used to do this alot when younger although never quite realised what an amazing thing it could be. try a search on dream websites/forums for wake back to bed (WBTB) techniques or wake induced lucid dreams (WILD) techniques. recently ive managed a couple of wake induced dreams but there is still a small gap where i fall asleep and forget im dreaming when you do it in a fully conscious manner it is as if you can literally do anything that could ever possibly be imagined, but getting that focus takes dedication or a great deal of luck. im working on the luck side cos my dedication is slipping...

yeah I had one the other night, in my dream I was being chased by someone, so it was one of those creepy nightmares where you just can't get away from the person that's chasing you. Even though you're supposed to face the person that's chasing you, but I never remember that in my dreams so I just run and fly n shit... but if I manage to wake up and move my head, change position a bit I can get rid of entering that dream again, so yeah it's usually nightmares that continue for me when I fall back asleep after having woken before from the same dream once or more times.

90% of the time when it's a good one..

Actually done it three times the other night, just didn't get to the orgasm stage which peed me off.

Also change direction of a dream if I feel it's turning into a bad one. I love dreaming.... One of my greatest wishes is not to wake up

Aye!

I don’t know about any 4th density transitional things but in 2005 I got stuck in a dream that started with someone talking about nine, one, one and a corner stone. Then I experienced a memory rewind, like a video tape being rewound at mega speed. When I stopped I was hovering in front of Jesus who was walking up a hill with others at his side and he looked happy to see me. I then awoke at 4:30 am and when I returned to sleep my mind began to rewind again but with a thought in my head saying searching for Jesus however I awoke before getting to the goal? Once more the same thing with the rewind but this time I awoke when I reached the image of a man wearing 18th or early 19th century prison clothes. The man was fair skinned with short black hair and he had a flat grey and white striped hat on his head.

i got back into the dream this morning, but i didnt quite get back to the part where i was being pushed along the motorway lying down on a trolley by someone on a superbike although the first part was enough. i remember saying yes when they asked if i wanted a push. then immediately thinking oh shit i should have set a max speed

Ooh, synchronicity. I just made a thread about a dream that got interrupted, then saw this!

I've certainly had dreams that continue after a little interruption, but the day or days after???

The dream rewind phenomena is quite interesting, someone should start a thread about that

This is a rare occurrence for me but it has happened maybe once or twice in my life so far.But the weird ones are the ones where you think your awake but you are still asleep. This could be related to what your talking about because the body is not fully awake so your caught between the awake world and the dream state. Very weird....

I have a couple of recurring dreams, going to the same towns/cities which are different every time but I know my way around.

But taking up where you left off?

i imagine that with enough experience you can take off wherever you want and revisit whatever you wish

My only guess at how that might be acheived is becoming a whole, unified being - so the dreamer and the waker are identical.

...or something

its strange when i return to a dream i usualy am somewhere between beeing awake and a semi lucid dreem state in this time if anywone makes a small noise i wake up compleetly but whats awsome about the dreem i do this to is its alwase has the same people that i dreemed up the first time i had the dreem and i'd rather not go into to mutch detal but i have a twin sister and i basicly just relive my entire high school life and recent ly we graduated in the dreem so i guess its catching up to reality i dont know what will happen when it does but i bet itl be cool

search dreamviews for 'dream end induced lucid dream', or DEILD

http://www.dreamviews.com/search.php?searchid=1858977

probably the easiest and best way to have better, more lucid dreams

I believe the dream continues because you are not fully awake when you wake up from a dream- you are only partially awake. It happened to me the other night: I woke up to go to the bathroom, got back into bed and continued with the same dream. Had I stayed up waiting for my brain to become fully conscious, I doubt I would have continued with the same dream.

The message : When you FULLY awake, the dream will change.

First you recall where you was in your dream the last time and, then you just jump in and continue further from the checkpoint.
