Question What is your definition of...

The following: "severe and enduring mental health problems"...?

I can't find anywhere on the internet what this term is supposed to cover and I'm wondering what it is or means exactly because apparently I'm a "Paranoid Schizoprenic" but I don't believe this to be true at all. I despise labels, especially those from people who know nothing of the world and pretend to be "experts" of something which they have absolutely no understanding or insight. Thanks, John.

"severe and enduring mental health problems" to me is someone who has the mental age of a 10 year old but there much older, someone who genuinely cant care for them self. Or some one who is very unstable and is capable of hurting them and others around them for next to no reason and has a high risk of doing so.

If none of the above are ticked , then i would say the person is fine/ no more fuked up than the rest of us.

However thats just me , if your loose enough with the labels we could all be called "mad" or "fuked in the head" if you really want to get into it.

Fuked up life's tend to cause alot of "mental problems", or so i've seen in my days.

My uncle (RIP) was diagnosed as a Paranoid Schizophrenic early on in his life. He did some terrible things but I don't want to go in to details... I certainly would not say he was 'spiritually awake', that's just nonsense.

severe and enduring is a huge umbrella term in psychology, a little like just about every other term in psychology lol.

severe and enduring is used to describe all sorts of shit, apart from the obvious mental retardations a person can have (as in being literally handicapped) theres a few things that are termed as being severe and enduring generally the most common would be:

strong sense of empathy
intelligence
perceptive depth.

of course if you were a psychologist you would just call them manic depressive, severely depressed, chronic depression, ADHD, post traumatic stress disorder, etc. then you medicate the fuck out of them to make sure they dont work out the real problem.
