The European Union is now moving to create a mandatory electronic ID system for all EU citizens that would be implemented across Europe to standardize business both online and in person, authenticating users via a common 'electronic signature.

I don't want to take the thread off topic but whether this is true or not, the Australian media announced today that anyone who works on a wharf will need to undergo a security check and obtain a clearance to stem alleged organised crime at our ports.

To do that they will need to put together an ASIO file on all these folk and I guess the logical thing will be guilt by association if you have any links to the so-called evil doers, which, if they exist at all it will be driven by the unions. One thing is for sure, in this country the unions get whatever they want. Clearance or not, nothing will change if they are involved.

You should read William Lynhope's book Alpha to Omega - he got there first with EU wide tracking of its citizens. Although the book is a thriller, he's also quite 'prophetic' about other things.

Here in the USA, there are very strict rules about the ports. For decades the NY ports were run by the Cosa Nostra and are probably are still through the unions.

I know people that are not quite right in the head that possess TWIC cards that allow them to roll their truck rigs into/out of port cargo areas. This bullshit is not making us safer, but its doing a hell of a job making us paranoid. Now we have reached a point of "If you see something, say something". Totally stupid stuff making believe there is a turban hidden behind every tree or pole watching and waiting to make mischief. The world still keeps turning in spite of it. We are not an iota safer.

The unions are VERY weak now in the States. I remember the late fifties and sixties when people earned a decent standard of living. This was possible through the unions. The unions have been made the bad guy, but the truth of it is that many things people enjoy today such as an 8 hr day, time and 1/2 pay for overtime, abolishing of child labor, increased safety reduced hazardous conditions and oversight through OSHA (Occupational Safety and Heath administration), a ten minute morning and afternoon break. When I told a secretary that the coffee break with pastry she was enjoying was paid for by someone losing their front teeth or kneecaps, her jaw dropped with disbelief. The companies employed strikebreakers, imported thugs form surrounding states and Pinkerton Armed private police. People do not know their own history

Today, if I take my son down to the ocean, there are employed self righteous scumbags that would take my plate number down if we looked over things with binoculars and enjoyed the scenery and seagulls and such. Things have not been right for a while and it seems to be getting worse.

It is impossible for me to believe the unions would hinder security. They are the most patriotic people I have met. Once they are within the port area, behind the high fenced gates, there is not reason that they would interfere with the port security. Unless they (the company owners) are using the port security to scrutinize and harass and spy on the workers. Then there would be a problem. The ports have run for donkey years with security and unions.

Security cards and microchips only protect the system. Today I read that a woman author in Britain was quoted as saying that if she was the Empress of the world everyone would be micro-chipped at birth to end any idea of anonymity. They will start sector by sector, category by category using safety, the environment and security for the wider community as the excuses and everyone must resist.

They pass masses of laws but I have yet to see them enforce any on a grand scale with the exception of tSA groping. They are testing the waters there and already the people are extremely agitated and going to the courts suing. Let them try chipping people. Bring it, I'm dying to see them try

Groping a few toothless grannies and raiding raw milk diaries only creates an Illusion of power. The searching of paraplegic war vets and people with catheters has really pissed off the public. Try the chipping bit en masse you scumbags and you will see quite a different show and what & where real power is. That is the truth of it.
