Is incest being 'normalised'?

Has anyone else noticed the number of incest stories in the trashy women's magazines? Like fathers and daughters, and mothers and sons deciding as consenting adults to procreate? In the UK, this is still strictly unlawful, if not for the 'medical' condition Genetic Sexual Attraction, which makes it OK then...

I understood that incest was illegal because offspring from closely related parents would be at risk from congenital diseases. Not to mention it's a bit grubby

Does anyone have an opinion on this? Would you choose to breed with your parent or sibling?

What! Are you serious? Is that what women's mags cover these days?! I'd heard of the brother/sister Genetic Sexual Attraction stories but parents..jeez.

Edit: just watched the video. I don't know why tptb would need to normalise it. With the genetic mutation caused by radiation exposure from Fukushima the future generations won't be able to tell the difference between inbreds and non-inbreds anyway.

Yes, I have noticed lots of stories on this too.

Although they are not really being given an emphatically positive spin YET, it's all paving the way (softly softly, catchee monkey). All the stories have the parties involved appealing to "liberal", "tolerant" attitudes by pleading "we just want to be a normal family!" "We love each other, is that so wrong?!"

So, the more we read about incest and how "normal" the people who practise it are, the more we will start to slowly come around to the idea of accepting it.

Racism
