^Good find,mate! Never knew that existed, and I could have sworn I was the Biggest Maiden fan in the world (or at least in my 6th grade class) back in '84. cheers!

In 1964, Barry Skeels, Steve Drewett, Chris Rose and Alan Hooker formed an acoustic band in Basildon, Essex that eventually evolved into a band called Iron Maiden (unrelated to the currently famous Iron Maiden.)

Yeah I think it was that first Sleep Album/όber-song came first, then Kyuss for me. Just happened to come across that documentary searching for a Nebula song to post.
I grew up not far from the California high-desert, though. Went to high school and rode skateboards with my friend Eddie Glass. Back then he was the drummer in a minutemen-inspired trio called Worked World which morphed into the Mudhoney-inspired band 'Olivelawn' (name of our local cemetery).

What do you think? Heavy enough for the All Metal thread? I think so. That wailing vocal and those heavy riffs put it solidly on the Metal side of Proto Metal/Prog Rock. Fuckin' badass shit. Night Sun!

There is this guy around who had his face smashed in in his sleep by his friend who was tripping on acid. The friend got the idea that this guy was the devil and took a tire iron to him. They had to reconstruct his face using his hip bone. Just thought I would share.
