I wouldn't go as far to say that religion is bullshiit. The desert religions are among the blood thirsty ones to have existed. A God who displayed humanistic and 3rd dimensional emotions, but told us not to experience them under penalty of death.

It's one of the reasons I left Christianity and became Buddhist/New age. While I respect other religions and their followers, I don't feel as if the desert religions are benificial spiritually

Born again christianity is very similar to buddhism .If you look below the surfice they are both tantric paths.

The entire bible is mythology the characters within are also mythological and where taken from Gentile Religions and Gods and changed and rewrote to revolve around the Jews. Giving the Jews a sense of identity and entitlement, based upon a false history.

Abraham and Sara, Abraham's half sister and wife and Abraham's father Tera, are taken from Brahma and his half sister and wife Saraswati. Brahma in some texts father is Vishnu also called Tara in some of his forms. The tale of Abraham is also identical to tales of Brahma in certain parts of the bible. Abraham's sons names translates out from sanskirt into different titles for Siva.
