Was on C4 last night.....anyone watch it. ???

surprised nobody has started a thread about it....untill now

Revealed quite a lot about how they conserve "some" wildlife and evict local indigineous peoples from their land, and how the conservation charities are backed by big corporations.

Didnt go into the nitty gritty, but for the MSM it was quite an eye opener.

Revealed a thing or two about virginia Mckenna....you know...her who the film "born free " was about.

She used to beat the locals with a stick if she didnt like certain things they did or didnt do

it just goes to further highlight the undeniable fact of modern life that profit dictates everything ,
the worlds an industry and we are the mercy of its ceo`s , if you get involved in the industry your as guilty as those you hold to acount we need to shut down world ltd and re open world coop in its place

Missed the programme but watched "The Day the Earth Stood Still" on Channel 4 the other night with Keannu Reaves (not literally mind you!)

He's an alien who has come to save the earth from the human race. Not to give too much away for those who haven't seen it but in essence the human race have ravaged the planet and waged wars for far too long and the time had come to stop them once and for all. The aliens decide enough is enough.

Pretty much somes us up in the present now. F'ing people.

I would like to see a programme done about ALL big charity organisations and expose them for what they are .....a scam.

Ask question like where has all the money gone that has been donated to say....."Live Aid"....or "Oxfam"
Follow the pound you give right through to the end, and see how much gets to where its needed, and see if its paying for what is truly needed.
